Brockway QB Derek Buganza set a new state record for yards in a season when he passed for 388 yards in a 42-40 loss to Karns City in the PIAA District 9 title game. Buganza, a junior, finished the campaign with 3,823 yards, breaking the old mark of 3,685 set by Zach Frazer of Mechanicsburg in 2004. 
 

Wilson Area QB Tyler Smith threw for 277-yards in the Warriors' 49-21 loss to Allentown Central Catholic breaking the D11 single season (3,128) and career passing records (8,033) to go with 87 career TD’s.

 

Bishop McCort's Josh Seidel scored four touchdowns in the Crusher's 45-21 win over Penns Manor giving him 27 touchdowns on the year.  The 27 scores set a new Bishop McCort single season record for touchdowns surpassing the record held jointly by Pete Duranko, Artrell Hawkins, and Eric Lowry.

 

Cody Remaley, Northern Lehigh running back, extended his school record for single season yardage when he ran for 229 yards in the Bulldog's 20-17 win over Catasauqua.  He now has rushed for 1,979 yard surpassing the old mark of 1,763 yards set by Nick Hosford in 2005.  He also broke the career rushing record with 3,826 yards breaking the former record of Dale Beck (3386 - 1978-80).  He also tied a school record with his 50th touchdown.
