Neshaminy (2-1) gave coach Mark Schmidt his
100th career victory with a 42-0 victory over Germantown on
Friday night.. Schmidt is 100-53 in 13 seasons.
Greensburg Salem totaled 479 yards rushing to break the old school record of 427 set in q1978 against Wilkinsburg. Pottsgrove High School played the 550th game in the history of its football program on Saturday at Phoenixville, which happened to be going for the 550th win in the history of its program... Pottsgrove got to celebrate - its 21-7 victory in its milestone game denied Phoenixville it's milestone win.Matt Adams, Greensburg Salem, rushed for 316 yards in the Spartan's 48-21 win over Albert Gallatin. The rushing total set a new school record, breaking the old mark of264 yards set by Rich Riffle in 1963. Emmaus's C. J. Billera set the school record with his 37th career touchdown in the Hornet's 16-6 win over Bethlehem Freedom. Zach Barket, Schuylkill Haven, rushed for 256 yards in the Hurricanes 55-0 win over Minersville. Barket now has has 4,899 career rushing yards, passing Pine Grove’s Nick Frantz (4,882) and Marian’s Mike Tracy (4.874) to become Schuylkill County’s all-time leading rusher. Dane Domonkos, Bishop McCort, kicked a 33-yard field goal in the Crusher's 39-7 win over Somerset. The field goal was the 16th of his career, tying his older brother Marc's school record, with 16 for his career. Andrew Shoop (Danville Sr.) threw two TD passes, giving him 40 for his career (in just 17 starts). He is the second Danville QB to reach the 40 TD mark, and he is just two shy of Bill Coombe’s record of 42.
