Jim Roth, head football
coach at Southern Columbia, recorded career win number 300 as his Tigers
carved out a 42-6 win over Warrior Run. The win set Roth's career record
at 300-51-2.
Coach Tim Rimfel, Cumberland Valley, notched career win number
200 when his Eagles carved out a 26-15 win over Chambersburg.
Serra Catholic Coach Rich Bowen coached in his 100th career
victory in Serra's 40- 0 over Avella on Friday.
Josh Seidel, Bishop McCort, broke the single game rushing record
when he romped for 327 yards in a 69-35 win over Richland.
The Bishop McCort Crushers set a school record for most yards
rushing as a team when they chalked up 487 yards in a big win over
Richland.
Bishop McCort's Dane Domonkos booted 9 extra points in the
Crusher's 69-35 win over Richland. With the points, Domonkos broke
the McCort career record for extra points with 147.
Matt Welk, Council Rock South picked off 3 Central Bucks West
passes to set his chool's record for most interceptions in a game.
The Titans score a 17-7 win over the Bucks.
Wade Truitt, East Juniata, became his school's all-time leading
rusher as the Tigers defeated Bucktail, 28-8. Truitt now has rushed
for 3,390 yards in his career, breaking the old mark set by Bob Kreider
in 1988.
Ryan Brumfield, Owen J. Roberts rushed for 177 yards and three
touchdowns on 23 carries to raise his career total to 3,741 yards,
breaking the school standard that was held by his head coach, Tom Barr,
and established back in 1979.
Eric Whalen set a Shenandoah Valley school record by rushing for
371 yards, as the Blue Devils downed Jim Thorpe 43-21.
Southern Columbia's Bryan Snyder booted five of his extra-point
tries in the Tiger's 42-6 victory over Warrior Run, giving him a
school-record
194 points for his career.
