Kyle Smith, Lancaster Catholic quarterback, broke a Pennsylvania State record for career touchdown passes in the Crusaders' 49-7 win over Annville-Cleona.  Smith tossed five touchdown passes in the Crusaders win giving him 99 for his career, breaking the old record of 94 set by Downingtown East quarterback Pat Devlin between 2002-2005.

 

Tyrone Area Senior Eric Desch broke 2 School records Friday night. He surpassed Steve Johnsons' (98-99)career yardage mark of 1190yds-(1199 and counting). And he also passed Aaron Jeffries (2000-2002) career receptions of 65, Desch now has 67.

 

Senior running back Michael Trentalange, Lower Moreland, ran for single game school rushing record with a total of 307 yards against Jenkintown.

 

Craig Brown, Oxford Area, set a school rushing records when he rushed for 294 yards in his team's 59-14 win over Sun Valley.

 

David Miller, Greensburg Central Catholic, ran for 344 yards against Jeannette on Friday to se a new school record.

 

Aaron Horton.  broke the single season scoring record at Mercyhurst Prep by scoring his 19th TD of the season.  The old record for TD’s in a season was shared by Jayson Nickson and Buddy O’Leary both with 18.

 

Brian Sourber, Manheim Township,  broke the single season school touchdown rushing mark by rushing for 3 TD's, bringing his rushing TD total to 18, breaking the mark of 17 held by Justin Stull from 2003. Brian is within 4 points of breaking the school season points scored mark of 132 by George Eager.
