The District 10 Class AA Playoffs will occur on Saturday, November 11th.

About the Farrell Steelers

Record 9-1 – Seed 1

Summary – Farrell will aim for their third straight district title in 2023 following a 9-1 regular season. Senior quarterback Kabron Smith has passed for 1,813 yards and 23 touchdowns, while Juelz Johnson leads the ground attack with 976 yards and nine scores. Simeir Wade and Danny Odem have combined for 1174 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns. On defense, Marion Norris leads the Steelers with 109 tackles.

About the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers

Record 9-0 – Seed 2

Summary – What else can you say about the Laker’s regular season other than dominating? Mercyhurst Prep has applied the mercy rule to every opponent but one. The Lakers average nearly 60 points a game while surrendering only four points a game. Paul Johnson has thrown for 1259 yards and 20 touchdowns while adding 713 yards on the ground with 13 scores. Jeremy Ganska has rushed for 1135 yards and seven touchdowns, while Ja’son Ellman has 592 receiving yards and 12 scores. Mercyhurst Prep will seek revenge against Sharpsville, having fallen in the district semifinals to the Blue Devils last season.

About the Sharpsville Blue Devils

Record 5-5 – Seed 3

Summary – Sharpsville will look to end their 5-game losing streak when they play Mercyhurst Prep. The Blue Devils beat the Lakers 21-14 in last year’s semifinals. Quarterback Caullin Summers leads the way for Sharpsville, having thrown for over 2000 yards and 22 touchdowns while leading the Blue Devils rushing attack with nearly 800 yards and ten scores.

About the Wilmington Greyhounds

Record 4-5 – Seed 4

Summary – Wilmington enters the postseason with a 4-5 record and will attempt to win their first district title since 2020. The Greyhounds are led by a rushing attack, with Ben Miller leading the way, having rushed for a team-high 1477 yards and 15 touchdowns. Tyler Mikulkin, despite missing five games, has rushed for 444 yards and five scores. Quarterback Buddah Book has 444 rushing yards and has thrown for 196 with two touchdowns and five interceptions.
