The first play of the game Bulldogs quarterback Tanner Lorson found receiver Koby Peacock for a quick 48-yard touchdown pass. The Bulldogs converted the two-point conversion to take an 8-0 lead. The following Ram drive ended up with a three and out and on fourth down the Bulldogs rush came through and blocked the punt. Coach Gravish said, ” we wanted to do things with special teams and might have a chance to block a punt, and we did”. This was one of the two blocked punts for the Bulldogs. Three plays later Kyle Tomb took the ball 5 yards into the end zone. The kick was good giving the Bulldogs a 15-0 lead with 8:41 left to go in the first quarter. The Rams continued to struggle offensively and ended up punting the ball away. They held the Bulldogs up until Tomb took the ball 30 yards down to the 4-yard line. The very next play Tomb finished the drive with a 4-yard touchdown. The PAT was no good making the score 21-0 with 5:30 to go in the first. The Rams offense found a spark on a fourth down fake punt when quarterback Cole Simpler found Mekhi Murdick for a 28-yard completion. However, the next three plays resulted in negative yards forcing a punt.

The second quarter started with a drive ending with a Josh Malicky touchdown. He took the ball from 2 yards out making the score 34-0. The PAT was good giving the Bulldogs a 35-0 lead with 10:13 to go in the second quarter. Again the Rams could not gain any yards and the Bulldogs got their second blocked punt of the night, giving the ball to the Bulldogs the ball on the 34-yard line. The very next play Dawson Sechrist took the ball 34 yards for a Bulldog touchdown. The kick was good making the score 35-0 with 7:55 to go in the second quarter.
