Conemaugh Valley knew coming into the game they would have to play a perfect game and get some help to beat the defending District VI 1A champions. BG took the opening kickoff and went 77 yards in just over three minutes to go up 7-0 and never looked back. Konner Kiesewetter hit Karson Kiesewetter for the games first score. Now it was time for the Marauders defense. The Blue Jays were able to drive to the BG 19 before turning it over on downs on their first possession. The BG offense gave it right back to CV on a fumble. The Blue Jays starting at the BG 30 appeared to score when junior running back Logan Kent swept around the right side bulled his way into the end zone. He was ruled to have stepped out of bound at the Marauder 3.  CV was stopped four straight plays from inside the five and BG took over at their own two. It took the Marauders just one play to score. Keegan Myrick running out of the Wildcat formation ran around the left side and went 98 yards for a touchdown. The Blue Jays didn’t quit, starting at their own 35 they drove to the BG 17 and on fourth down Haiden Garner intercepted junior quarterback Noah Heltzel’s pass. The Marauders then drove into Blue Jay territory and the half would end.

CV’s last chance disappeared on the second half kickoff. Nick Heltzel broke thru a hole on the kick return but was caught from behind and fumbled. BG had the ball at their own 44. Myrick would capped the 56 yard drive with his second touchdown at 8:12 of the third quarter. The Blue Jays went three and out. The Marauders 50 yard drive was capped by Konner Kiesewetter second touchdown pass. This one going to JT Johnston. The Blue Jays next two possessions netted just 31 yards. The Marauders lost a fumble on their first drive and scored on their second possession. Karson Kiesewetter scoring on a short run. The mercy rule started with 2:51 to go in the game. The Marauders would score again on the games final play as Dominic Yanoshak picked up a fumble and raced 50 yards for a touchdown.
