Q&A

What made you choose football?

My brother played, and so did my father. Also, I enjoy watching college football and the NFL.

What’s your favorite football memory?

I have a lot, but here are a few, being able to play with my friends, going to the championship in 6th grade, going to Hershey two times. Also, throwing a touchdown pass before halftime vs. Farrall in 2019 on TV.

What activities do you enjoy outside of playing football?

I play baseball and basketball. I enjoy helping the community. I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, riding four-wheelers, playing hockey, pickleball, badminton, and Xbox.

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

I was a member of the National Honor Society and Peer Leadership. I Became the Class President. Rookie of the year for baseball. Underclassman of the year for basketball. Lettering in all three sports.

Who is your favorite athlete, and why?

Drew Brees is my favorite athlete. He is a great leader and a great guy. I had the honor of meeting him while I was at the pro bowl in 2018. Mr. Brees uses his platform to do good for others, just like most popular athletes.

What has been the most difficult part of training during the pandemic, and how did you overcome it?

Not being able to train with your teammates is probably the most difficult part. I enjoy being pushed to my limits by my teammates, and I enjoy pushing them to theirs. When Lawrence County went to the green phase, my parents allowed me to have friends over. So I was able to workout with a few teammates, and we were able to push each other to get better.

Do you prefer offense or defense?

Offense because it is more exciting and more goes into it. I’m able to do several different things in our offense, so that’s why I like it.

Who is your biggest role model?

My dad. He is a successful man. He has taught me the ropes to everything I have ever done. Whether it’s doing yard work or sports, he shows me how to do many different things. He is always right beside me through everything (so is my mom).

What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?

My parents usually don’t yell during games. My mom will every once in a while to cheer on the team, but my dad does not say anything during the games, he watches and talks to me after the game.

What are your team and personal goals for the season?

I look forward to just playing this season and being able to play with my friends. I do not focus on personal goals. I do what it takes for the team to win. Our team goal is to take one game at a time and to be humble and hungry.

If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?

My mom’s dad because I never met him. My uncle, who passed away, and George Washington

What hobby do you have that might surprise people?

Horseback Riding

What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?

Baseball. Baseball is my best sport.

What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

Leadership and to put the team before yourself.

What is your expectation of Kennedy Catholic football this season?

Just to take one game at a time.

What is your favorite TV show?

Shooter

What is your favorite movie?

Avengers Endgame

What is your favorite subject in school?
