Q&A

What made you choose football?

Football has always been something I loved. I watched it with my family all the time, and when I moved to a school that had it, I immediately wanted to join. And ever since then, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Who doesn’t like playing with your brothers? Working together towards the same goal, and who doesn’t like hitting someone. Best sport.

What’s your favorite football memory?

When we won the Midget football championship as underdogs over Farrell, and when I scored my first TD in high school. They were both very exciting moments.

What activities do you enjoy outside of playing football?

I like to lift a lot. I also enjoy listening to music or playing Xbox.

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

Honor roll. Perfect attendance. Being a part of a great family and making them proud.

Who is your favorite athlete, and why?

Barry Sanders. He is humble and never bragged. I loved the way he played the game and the way he acted. Just a classy guy, he is a great person.

What has been the most difficult part of training during the pandemic, and how did you overcome it?

Not being able to go to the gym all the time. Shout out to Grossetti Performance. I missed it. But I made do with what I had at home and worked hard. I Did footwork and sprints and lifted a lot with weights, lots of pushups and curls.

Do you prefer offense or defense?

I’m used to be defense, but now I’m a running back, and I play running back like I do Linebacker. Hit the person in front of me as hard as I can. And you score more. But defense is fun because you can hit whatever moves.

Who is your biggest role model?

My grandpa or Coach Means. Both great men.

What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?

GOOOOOO!!!

What are your team and personal goals for the season?

Team goals are always to win every game and win states. Our goal for this year starts with District X champs. We can do it. We have to believe. Personal goals? I want to build on from last season. I didn’t reach my offensive goals. I reached or came close on defense. This year I definitely want 1,000 yards rushing and 15+ total TD. And defensively. Lead the region in tackles and have 5+ sacks again. Make the all-state team as well. I know I can do it.

If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?

MLK, Barry, and Juice WRLD

What hobby do you have that might surprise people?

I love to cook.

What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?

Baseball for sure.

What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

My leadership and determination to prove people wrong.

What is your expectation of West Middlesex football this season?

State Champs. Nothing short.

What is your favorite TV show?

Riverdale or All American.

What is your favorite movie?

Remember the Titans.

What is your favorite subject in school?

History

What music do you listen to?

Hip-Hop
