Muncy 45, Wyalusing 0
In week 1, the Indians had a tough loss in a low scoring 14-7 game against Warrior Run. Scoring was no issue this week for Muncy, as they took down Wyalusing 45-0 on the road. The Indians scored on their first 6 possessions in the first half, and added an additional touchdown in the fourth quarter. Muncy had 7 different players score a touchdown in the victory, along with racking up 369 total yards of offense. The defense, along with the shutout, held the Rams to just 77 total yards on offense.

Troy 31, Athens 21
The Trojans got a much needed bounce back win over the Wildcats, taking down Athens at home 31-21. Troy dominated this game in the first half, but mistakes in the second half allowed Athens to claw their way back into the game. Offensively the Trojans looked much better than they did a week ago, rushing for over 200 total yards, with Josiah Pesesky going for 93 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Peseski also threw a touchdown in this game on a trick play, while quarterback Spencer Martin went for 93 yards and a touchdown on the night as well. Both touchdowns were hauled in by Trey Teribury, who hauled in 3 passes for 107 yards on top of it. Athens had lots of explosive plays in the game, but in the first half of the game they struggled to finish drives. Connor Davidson threw 4 interceptions in the loss, as well as taking a plethora of sacks. The Wildcats made too many crucial mistakes in the game to be able to walk away from the game with a victory.
Towanda 46, North Penn-Mansfield 14
Towanda showed off their speed on offense in their 46-14 win over North Penn-Mansfield. The rushing attack was the highlight of the game for Towanda, with running backs Jazick Brown and Gage Evans combining for over 250 yards and 5 touchdowns on the night. Brown rushed for 194 yards and 3 touchdowns on 11 carries, while Evans rushed for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns on 8 carries. After not winning a game until week 6 in 2025, the Black Knights are now 2-0 to begin their 2026 campaign. Towanda also avenged their loss to North Penn-Mansfield from last year, as they fell to the Tigers 24-17 in week 3 of the 2025 season.
Montgomery 48, Canton 14
Montgomery’s rushing attack propelled the Red Raiders to a second straight dominant victory, as they beat Canton 48-14. Montgomery led the game 35-6 going into halftime, and the game was never particularly close. Josh Knoebel had another great performance, this time going for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also adding a pick six to his totals. Senior Lincoln Miller went for 57 yards and a touchdown on the night as well, while freshman Holden Bennett ran in a touchdown as well. Canton’s offense struggled for most of the game, similar to last week when they were shut out for the first 3 quarters of the game.
South Williamsport 55, Sayre 0
The Mountaineers have cruised through the first 2 weeks of the season, as they crushed North Penn-Mansfield 48-0 in week 1, before crushing Sayre 55-0 in week 2. This offense has been clicking on all cylinders so far, specifically the rushing attack that racked up 288 total yards against the Redskins defense. Eli White led the way with 119 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 6 carries. Cade Lusk and Garrett Lorson both scored 2 touchdowns each, racking up yardage totals of 45 and 32 respectively. Taylor Nagule also scored a touchdown while also adding 62 yards on 4 carries.
Midd-West 66, Columbia Montour Vo-Tech 0
What a performance that was for the Mustangs, as they crushed Columbia Montour Vo-Tech at home 66-0. Midd-West in that game broke their school record for most points scored in a game, the last time they even came close to that total was in their first year as a program, scoring 59 against Vincentain Academy. That was also the last time Midd-West had pitched a shutout, as they won that game 59-0. Junior quarterback Witten Carter had a career best game, throwing for 201 yards and 4 touchdowns on the game. The running game also had a stellar performance with Noah Kratzer leading the way, racking up 120 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 10 carries. Junior Maverick Smith and sophomore Jiovaunni Drumheller both ran for a touchdown as well. The defense also picked off Cody Zimmerman 4 times in the game, racked up 3 sacks, and recovered 2 fumbles.
Northwest Area 23, Central Columbia 10
The Rangers took down Central Columbia at home 23-10, earning them the second straight win to begin 2026. Northwest Area’s 2-0 record is a feat that they haven’t achieved since 2022, in fact they’ve already matched their win total from 2025. Once again the rushing attack did a great job for the Rangers, racking up 271 total yards and 3 touchdowns. Leading the backfield was junior running back Noah Amett who ran for 100 yards and a touchdown on 6 carries, including a 76 yard score in the fourth quarter. Cole Cavuto and Ben Bonham also scored touchdowns for the Rangers, with Cavuto also adding 36 yards through the air in the game. Central Columbia’s passing attack struggled once again, but the run game had another good performance racking up 237 total yards. Owen Zanoline rushed for 114 yards on 19 carries and scored the Blue Jays’ lone touchdown on the night. Zanoline also hauled in 2 passes for 36 yards in the game, which led the team.
Williamsport 49, Hazleton 21
The Millionaires have put together two very good performances to start the year, this week beating Hazleton at home 49-21. Quarterback Tevin Williams has looked like a star so far, accounting for 10 total touchdowns in the first 2 weeks of the season. Against Hazleton he threw for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns while also rushing for 88 yards and 2 more touchdowns. Williams also caught a touchdown pass from Zion Hughes. Hughes led the team in rushing yards with 114 and a touchdown on 11 carries. Trey Damschroder led the receiving game for the second straight week, hauling in 4 passes for 84 and a touchdown, while Jaylen Lily caught Williams’ other touchdown pass on a 39 yard reception.
Shikellamy 21, Lewisburg 0
The Braves got the shutout victory against Lewisburg, beating the Green Dragons 21-0 in their first home game of the season. Despite the win, Shikellamy made a bunch of mistakes that allowed Lewisburg to stay within striking distance for most of the game. The Braves turned the ball over 4 times, including 2 that came in the red zone. Bobby Felmy went 6/11 for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns, however he threw 2 interceptions on the game. Both touchdown passes went to Thomas Pollock who caught 3 passes for 96 yards, which led the team. Shikellamy also fumbled the ball 3 times, losing 2 of them, as well as committing 8 penalties in the game. Shikellamy’s defense did a good job keeping Lewisburg at bay, holding them to just 105 total yards of offense.
Mifflinburg 28, Selinsgrove 10
After a heartbreaking loss last week to Shikellamy, Mifflinburg got back on track with a 28-10 victory over Selinsgrove. The Wildcats looked much more composed down the stretch against the Seals, as they didn’t allow Selinsgrove’s offense make any noise after the third quarter. Quarterback Brennan Snyder had another clean performance, going 14/21 for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 20 more yards on the ground. Brady Threet led the Wildcats’ receiving game, hauling in 6 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown, while Taylor Zimmerman caught Snyder’s other touchdown pass from 29 yards out. Selinsgrove couldn’t generate much on the ground, as Mifflinburg’s defense held the Seals to just 34 total rushing yards. Rocco Amato was the team’s only source of offense in the loss, as he threw for 127 yards and ran for 20 yards and the Seals’ lone touchdown. Amato threw 2 interceptions and was sacked twice as well, with Grady Brubaker and Landon Moser coming away with the interceptions.
Jersey Shore 27, Montoursville 13
The Bulldogs offense was powered by Nolen Pauling last week in their 49-34 victory, and that did not change this week in their 27-13 road win against Montoursville. The Warriors did a great job holding Jersey Shore’s offense at bay for most of the game, with the Bulldogs only leading 13-0 at halftime. Although the offense as a whole struggled much more this week than it did last week, Pauling still looked amazing in the win, accounting for all 4 of Jersey Shore’s touchdowns, throwing for 2 and rushing for 2. Pauling threw for 178 yards and rushed for 124, with both of his touchdown passes being hauled in by Carter Rhinehart. Montoursville gave the Bulldogs all they could handle in this game, staying within striking distance until late in the fourth quarter when Jersey Shore scored their fourth touchdown to extend their lead up to 27-13 with under 2 minutes left. Eli Eck had a very solid performance through the air, going 13/21 for 198 yards and a touchdown in the game. The Warriors had an opportunity late in the game to take the lead, as a fourth down pass from Eli Eck down the sideline slipped through the fingers of James Williams that would’ve set Montoursville up inside the 15 yard line. Eck was also sacked 4 times in the game, with Isaac Shirey racking up 2.5 sacks in the victory.
Shamokin 53, Danville 14
The Indians rolled for a second straight week, scoring 31 points in the first quarter en route to a 53-14 blowout victory over Danville. Logan Steele completed just 3 passes for 150 yards in the game, including a 66 yard touchdown pass to Colin Steinhart at the end of the first quarter. Steele also ran for 38 yards and a touchdown on just 7 carries. Noah Ringes ran for 105 yards and a touchdown on just 8 carries, which led the way for the Indians rushing attack that racked up 277 total yards. Barrett Walsh and Ryan Bickert also ran in touchdowns of their own. The Indians defense held Danville to 177 yards and only allowed 7 points until a garbage time score from the Ironmen in the fourth quarter. Steele also scored twice on defense, picking off Macon Patrick and returning it 27 yards for a touchdown, as well recovering a fumble and returning it 33 yards for a touchdown. Macon Patrick threw for just 65 yards in the game, 53 of those yards coming on one pass to Myles Koser in the second quarter, which was his lone touchdown pass of the game.
Milton 35, Hughesville 0
Milton couldn’t take advantage of their opportunities against Bloomsburg last week, but this week was an entirely different story. Milton dominated on both sides of the ball, as they blanked Hughesville 35-0. Quarterback Kamryn Wilson improved on his performance against Bloomsburg, going 8/14 for 119 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air. The downside of his performance were the 2 interceptions he threw. In this game those turnovers did not matter much for Milton, as their defense held the Spartans to just 27 total yards on offense. The Black Panthers defense also racked up 6 sacks in the game, which was a big part in their shutout performance. Jhemzuel Feliciano led the receiving game with 5 catches for 82 yards and a touchdown, while Jacori Brown had all 3 of his receptions go for touchdowns, racking up 39 yards in the process. This marks the second straight week that Hughesville has been kept off of the scoreboard entirely.
Mount Carmel 47, Pottsville 20
The Red Tornadoes posted another impressive offensive performance, taking down Pottsville 47-20 on the road. Just like their victory against Schuylkill Haven last week, the running game was the engine behind their offense, as the team posted 472 total yards on the ground. Jaylen Delaney and Cooper Karycki ran for 2 touchdowns each, Delaney racking up 202 yards on 16 carries while Karycki racked up 186 yards on 17 carries. Mount Carmel completed their first pass of the season in this game, with Delaney connecting with Aidan Brokenshire for an 18 yard touchdown to open the game’s scoring in the second quarter. Mount Carmel’s defense played better than it did last week, however Pottsville still racked up almost 300 total yards in the game. The Red Tornadoes did a lot of good things on that side of the ball though, including picking off Pottsville quarterback Andrew Allen once and recovering a Pottsville fumble.
Bloomsburg 28, Loyalsock 21
Arguably the game of the week in District 4, and it ended with Bloomsburg getting the 28-21 road victory over Loyalsock. This game went back and forth all night, however Loyalsock was playing from behind the whole night, as the Lancers never possessed a lead in this game. Jharee Moore-Stewart had an excellent night on the ground, rushing for 116 yards on just 11 carries, however all of Bloomsburg’s touchdowns came thanks to quarterback Shane Frey. Frey scored 3 touchdowns on the ground, while also running for 57 yards on 16 carries. Frey also threw a touchdown in this game, going 12/23 for 92 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Frey’s lone touchdown pass was caught by Julius Serrano, who led the team in receiving with 7 catches for 60 yards. Dyson Dupont had an incredible night throwing the ball for the Lancers, going 19/30 for 257 yards and all 3 of Loyalsock’s touchdowns. Ivan Baker, Clynton Taylor, and Zion Cobb all caught touchdowns from Dupont in the game, Cobb having the best game of three hauling in 6 passes for 109 yards. Loyalsock struggled to run the football in this game, with Bloomsburg’s defense holding the Lancers to just 64 total yards on the night. Matthew Rickard tallied the game’s only turnover, picking off Bloomsburg’s quarterback Shane Frey.
Warrior Run 42, Central Mountain 19
In the third quarter of this game, Central Mountain’s Jacob Rembold picked off Logan Stevenson and returned it to the end zone, cutting Warrior Run’s lead down to 27-19. This ended up being the closest the game would get in the second half, as Warrior Run pulled away late winning 42-19. That interception in the third quarter was Stevenson’s the only real hiccup in his performance, as he went 14/22 for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns in the game. Denyn Beachel powered Warrior Run’s rushing attack once again, racking up 164 yards on 25 carries. Quarterback Logan Stevenson ran for a touchdown in the game while Emiliano Torres ran for 2 touchdowns. Although Beachel didn’t score any touchdowns on the ground, he did haul in a 19 yard touchdown catch on his only reception of the game. Liam Moore and Bryson Weigel also caught touchdowns, racking up receiving totals of 95 yards and 72 yards respectively.
Otto-Eldred 28, Bucktail 20
In a little over a quarter of play, Otto-Eldred had built a 22-6 lead over Bucktail thanks to a slow start from the Bucks. Bucktail’s slow start ultimately proved to be too much to overcome in their 28-20 loss. Levi Stevenson scored Bucktail’s last touchdown in the fourth quarter that brought them within eight points. Along with Stevenson’s touchdown, Corbin Pentz and Stephen Heiser both scored touchdowns for the Bucks in the loss. Otto-Eldred’s quarterback Ryan Schenfield was vital in the win for Terrors, going 12/19 for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns, as well as 33 more yards on the ground.
Line Mountain 42, Glendale 8
The Eagles are off to another great start to the season, beginning 2-0 for the second straight year thanks to their dominant 42-8 victory on the road against Glendale. Line Mountain’s rushing attack took a big step forward in this game, as the team ran for 349 total yards and 6 touchdowns. Kaden Dunkelberger and Preston Derk both scored 2 touchdowns in the game, Dunkelberger rushing for 102 yards on 12 carries while Derk rushed for 81 yards on 12 carries. Liam Troutman led the team in rushing yards, going for 108 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Niam Braswell also scored a touchdown for Line Mountain while also tallying 42 yards on 6 carries. Despite the win, Line Mountain did struggle a little bit to contain Glendale’s senior running back Tanner Amerman who ran for 121 yards on 26 carries. Glendale’s only score came on a connection between Michael Venslosky and Liam Hamilton.

Southern Columbia 30, Williams Valley 12
The Vikings scored first in this game on a 62 yard run from Fletcher Thompson, putting them ahead 6-0 in the first quarter. Southern Columbia outscored the Vikings 30-6 the rest of the way, winning 30-12 on the road over District 11 powerhouse Williams Valley. The Tigers didn’t truly find their stride offensively since until the fourth quarter, as the game was only 16-6 heading into the final frame. Grady Garcia powered Southern Columbia’s offense, scoring 3 touchdowns in the game. Garcia was the focal point of the rushing attack, racking up 178 yards and 2 touchdowns on 13 carries. Quarterback Ayden Hockenbroch accounted for Southern Columbia’s other 2 touchdowns while going 4/7 for 70 yards on the game. Jace Malakoski hauled in 3 of Hockenbroch’s passes for 37 yards and a touchdown, while Garcia hauled in the other touchdown on a 33 yard reception. Fletcher Thompson was the leader of Williams Valley’s offense, racking up 105 yards and 2 touchdowns on 16 carries while also catching 3 passes for 13 yards. The Vikings offense was held to 199 total yards, 118 of them coming from Thompson.
