October 23, 2026

Athens 9, Muncy 0

The Wildcats got it done in a very low scoring battle with Muncy, as Athens prevails 9-0 at home for their seventh consecutive win. All of Athens’ points came in the second quarter, and the defense really backed up the Wildcats, forcing five turnovers and pitching their fourth consecutive shutout. Offensively, Athens had probably their worst performance of the season, quarterback Connor Davidson went 20/32 for 179 yards and 2 interceptions to no touchdowns. Davidson was the leading rusher, and his one touchdown run was the only touchdown of the entire game, however his 2.6 yards per carry was by far his lowest of the season, as he turned 24 carries into just 62 yards. It was also the first time since October 17th of 2025 that Davidson did not throw a touchdown pass. While Davidson didn’t throw any touchdowns, his top target through the air was Kade Rowe, who hauled in 6 passes for 55 yards. Muncy suffered their first shutout loss of the season, the last time that the Indians were shutout was in the district playoffs last season against Montgomery where they fell 33-0. Athens’ defense picked off both Noah Weikle and Noah Walters twice each, Weikle was Muncy’s top passer going 7/15 for 118 yards, while Walters went 5/12 for just 20 yards. Muncy only managed 70 total rushing yards, their fourth lowest total of the season, their leading rusher was Layken Harris who turned 9 carries into just 33 yards. The leading receiver for Muncy was Nathan Rogers, who caught 6 passes for 77 yards. Davidson, Brayden Westbrook, Cy Yeager, and Nolan Raupers all came away with interceptions for Athens, while Chase Boozer and Finn Thomas came away with interceptions for Muncy. The Indians also racked up 10 tackles for loss and 2 sacks, while Athens racked up 5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks as well.

Towanda 53, Canton 6

The Black Knights cruised past Canton, earning their second largest win of the season with a 53-6 drubbing of the Warriors at home to improve to 4-5 on the year. Towanda reached the 50 point mark for the second time this season, and their 47 point margin of victory was the second largest of the season, only behind their 55-2 win over Sayre to begin the year. Towanda was able to reestablish the ground game after two straight weeks of struggles, racking up 355 total rushing yards, their third highest single game total of the season. Gage Evans got the bulk of the work in the backfield, carrying the ball 13 times for 86 yards and 3 touchdowns, his first game with three rushing touchdowns since week 1. Curtis Manyard led the team in rushing yards with 102 on 9 carries while also adding a rushing touchdown to his totals. Jazick Brown also had a nice game on the ground, rushing for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns on 6 carries, while freshman running back Gavin Woodbeck finished the scoring with a 28 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, his first of the season. Reese Sluyter also performed nicely through the air, going 4/6 for 106 yards and a touchdown, with Brown being his leading receiver with 2 catches for 85 yards and a score. Brown also recorded an interception on defense, Towanda’s only one of the game. The Black Knights also recorded 5 sacks and 6 tackles for loss in the win, with Tommy Bowen racking up 2 sacks and 2 tackles for loss. Towanda also held Canton off the scoreboard until the fourth quarter when the score was already 46-0, their lone touchdown came on a 53 yard connection between Holden Wesenski and Monte Whitehead.

South Williamsport 49, Wellsboro 6

The Mountaineers roll to their fifth straight win, crushing Wellsboro at home 49-6, improving to 7-2 on the season and ending Wellsboro’s two game win streak. South Williamsport has now averaged 52.4 points per game in the last five games, this also marks their first five game win streak since 2023. Once again the ground game was the engine behind South Williamsport’s offense, accounting for 299 of the Mountaineers’ 420 total yards, as well as five of their seven touchdowns. The leader of South Williamsport’s backfield once again was Garrett Lorson, carrying the ball 10 times for 141 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Eli White carried the ball 8 times for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns of his own. Cole Gerber went 6/12 for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air for South Williamsport, however Wellsboro did pick off Gerber once. Gerber’s touchdown passes went to Neeko Bowen on a 25 yard completion and to Levi Butler on a 15 yard completion. South Williamsport did a phenomenal job containing Wellsboro’s passing attack, holding Wellsboro starting quarterback Griffin Morral to just 67 passing yards on a 28.5% completion percentage, as well as picking off Morral three times. Derrick Blasz accounted for Wellsboro’s only touchdown with a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, as well as going 6/11 for 71 yards in his limited action. South Williamsport also held Wellsboro to just 77 total rushing yards, with their leading rusher being Morral who racked up 66 yards on 8 carries.

Troy 56, Wyalusing 8

The Trojans cruise past Wyalusing for their eighth straight victory, crushing the winless Rams on the road 56-8. Troy has now had a win streak of at least eight games in each of the past five seasons, and the Trojans have now scored at least 48 points in their last five games, averaging 53.6 points per game over that span. Troy also took a 49-0 lead into halftime, holding Wyalusing to just one first down and 55 total yards through the first two quarters. Troy dominated on the ground, racking up 256 total yards on the ground, the leader of the Trojans’ ground game being Jayden Kutt who turned 3 carries into 69 yards and 2 touchdowns. Spencer Martin was effective both passing and rushing the ball, he went just 3/5 for 50 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, as well as adding 62 yards and a touchdown on the ground on 3 carries. Landon Cole added 25 yards and 2 touchdowns on 9 carries, with Evan Allen also scoring on touchdown to go along with 3 carries for 18 yards. Martin’s top target was Trey Teribury, hauling in 2 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown, while Martin’s other touchdown pass went to Reed Palmer on a 5 yard catch. Troy’s defense forced three turnovers, held Wyalusing to just 24 passing yards, as well as keeping the Rams off the scoreboard until the final five minutes of the fourth quarter. Wyalusing’s only source of offense came from Jacob Gromley who turned 8 carries into 109 yards and the Rams’ only touchdown of the game. Wyalusing’s defense did recover two fumbles of their own, however the Rams remain on an 12 game losing streak, with their last win coming against Canton on October 3rd of 2025.

Montgomery 84, North Penn-Mansfield 14

The Red Raiders put on an absolute show, setting yet another school record for most points ever scored in a single game, destroying North Penn-Mansfield on the road in an 84-14 onslaught. Montgomery’s previous single game record was 73 points, which they set just three weeks ago against Wyalusing in a 73-0 victory. Montgomery’s 84 points is also the most by a District 4 team since week 1 of 2024 when Troy defeated Sayre by a final score of 84-12. The Red Raiders as they have done all season, did most of their damage on the ground, something they had not done all year though was rack up a whopping 612 rushing yards in a single game, just 15 yards shy of the amount of rushing yards they’ve had in the past two weeks combined, and nearly double the amount of rushing yards Montgomery racked up in their 73-0 win. The leader of the backfield was Josh Knoebel, who carried the ball just 6 times and turned it into 185 yards and 5 touchdowns, both of which were season highs. Briar Persing also had a phenomenal game, turning just 3 carries into 167 yards and 2 touchdowns, with Trace Furman also breaking the 100 yard mark with 4 carries for 102 yards. Lincoln Miller had the most carries with 7, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown as well, while sophomore Hayden Denton and freshman Holden Bennett also rushed for a touchdown each, racking up yardage totals of 34 and 30 respectively. Denton also caught a touchdown pass from Gage Furman, who went just 2/5 for 19 yards and a score through the air. North Penn-Mansfield managed one touchdown in the first half and one in the second half, scoring on a connection between Peyton Greene and Keaton Manikowski, as well as a touchdown run from Bridger Lehman. Greene went 15/26 for 134 yards through the air, throwing both a touchdown and an interception, while also adding 55 yards on the ground, which led the team.

Lake-Lehman 14, Northwest Area 6

The Rangers continue their skid, dropping their fifth game in a row after a 14-6 home loss to Lake-Lehman, as their record now falls to 4-5. For the Knights, they ended their two game losing streak after back to back blowout losses to Dallas and Wyoming Area, their record is now also 4-5. The Rangers have now also been held under 20 points for the fifth straight week after dropping 41 and 76 in weeks 3 and 4, they’ve averaged just 9.8 points per game in their five game losing streak. Lake-Lehman led the game 6-0 going into halftime, before Northwest Area tied it up at 6-6 early in the second half, which is where the score stayed until late in the fourth quarter after a late touchdown and two point conversion by the Knights to win it. Cole Cavuto went 3/7 for 41 yards and an interception through the air, adding 36 rushing yards to his totals as well. Northwest Area’s leader in yards was Noah Amett, who carried the ball 9 times for 80 yards, both of which led the team. The Rangers’ lone touchdown came from Robby Voyton, who had 4 carries for 17 yards and a score. Lake Lehman’s offense heavily relied on fullback Devon Albee who carried the ball 20 times for 96 yards, their two touchdowns came from Anthony Magnotta who scored on a 15 yard run in the first quarter, and quarterback Jesse Strenfel who scored on a one yard touchdown run with 3:40 left in the fourth quarter.

Hollidaysburg 41, Williamsport 34

The Millionaires fought hard but ultimately fell to Hollidaysburg on the road, losing 41-34 in a highly contested battle. Last season when these two sides met, Hollidaysburg was undefeated and they ran away with the game, winning 69-6, this time around was much different, as Williamsport actually had a lead for a good portion of the first half, going into halftime with a 27-26 lead, and even having a 34-33 lead in the fourth quarter, however the Golden Tigers got it done in the second half. Tevin Williams had another fantastic performance even in the loss, going 17/23 for 252 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air, as well as adding 20 carries for 97 yards and another score on the ground. Williams’ three touchdown passes went to Zion Hughes on a 48 yard reception, to Jaylen Lilly on a 27 yard reception, and to Trey Damschroder on a 13 yard reception. Zion Hughes also added 68 yards on 18 carries on the ground, second on the team behind Williams. Williamsport’s defense struggled to contain the Golden Tigers’ offense, allowing 465 yards of total offense. Quarterback Vincent Albarano went 11/17 for 244 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air, while also adding 107 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The leader of the backfield for Hollidaysburg was junior Isaac Vent, who carried the ball 25 times for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns. Albarano threw touchdowns to three different players, with Ethan Coke, Tyler Rogers, and Will Padamonsky all catching touchdowns. Coke led the receiving game with 2 catches for 86 yards and a score, Rogers’ lone catch of the night was a 75 yard touchdown reception, and Padamonsky hauled in 2 passes for 37 yards and a score. Albarano also came up with an interception, while Hollidaysburg’s defense as a whole racked up 4 sacks and 11 tackles for loss, with Joey Richardson leading the way with 3 tackles for loss and a sack to go with it.

Shikellamy 48, Warrior Run 13

The Braves run through Warrior Run, crushing the Defenders 48-13 at home for their sixth consecutive win and handing Warrior Run their sixth consecutive loss. The Braves are on their first six game win streak since 2017, during that six game win streak back in 2017 the Braves averaged 39.5 points per game, however during this six game win streak they have averaged 44.8 points per game. The Braves found most of their offensive yardage through the air, with Bobby Felmy having another great performance going 13/18 for 258 yards and a touchdown. However, most of Shikellamy’s scoring came from the ground game, Felmy led the rushing attack with 10 carries for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns. Thomas Pollock rushed for just 32 yards on 8 carries, however he still scored 4 touchdowns on the ground, as well as leading the receiving game with 8 catches for 126 yards and a touchdown. Both of Warrior Run’s touchdowns came in the first half, however by the time halftime rolled around the Defenders were already trailing 34-13. Quarterback Logan Stevenson provided Warrior Run with most of their offense going 8/12 for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns, however Shikellamy’s defense picked off Stevenson twice. Chase Wirnsberger was the leading receiver, catching 3 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, while Bryson Weigel caught Stevenson’s other touchdown pass, hauling in 2 passes for 46 yards and a score. For Shikellamy’s defense, Brady Kurtz and Maddox Hoover both came away with interceptions in the game.

Tamaqua 27, Selinsgrove 18

While Selinsgrove struggled early in this game, they made a strong attempt at a rally in the second half, however it just wasn’t enough as the Seals fell to Tamaqua at home 27-18. Early in the third quarter, the Raiders had built a 20-0 lead over Selinsgrove before the lead was cut down to just 8 points by the end of the third, however a touchdown from Tamaqua in the fourth put the game out of reach. Tamaqua outgained Selinsgrove 337 to 48 in total rushing yards, however Selinsgrove led 255 to 73 in the passing yards department, almost polar opposites in terms of offensive production. Selinsgrove quarterback Rocco Amato went 16/29 for 255 yards and a touchdown through the air, adding a score on the ground as well. Selinsgrove’s leading rusher was Cael Badman who turned 6 carries into just 35 yards and a touchdown, no other player on the team even reached double digit rushing yards. Jonathan Neidig was the team’s leading receiver by far, hauling in 8 passes for 186 yards and Amato’s lone touchdown pass in the game. As mentioned earlier, Selinsgrove struggled to contain Tamaqua’s run game, specifically the duo of quarterback Ace Schickram and running back Terrence McDowell Jr. While Schickram was solid through the air, going 6/9 for 73 yards and a touchdown, most of the damage he did was on the ground, turning 22 carries into 158 yards. McDowell Jr. was even better, running the ball 28 times for 173 yards and 3 touchdowns, his second straight game with three touchdowns. Schickram’s only touchdown pass went to Ryder Holmberg who hauled in a 10 yard touchdown catch, his only reception of the game.

Southern Columbia 56, Jersey Shore 20

The Tigers absolutely dominated this game, crushing Jersey Shore 56-20 for their third straight win and improving to 8-1. Jersey Shore now falls to 4-5, their first time under .500 this late in the season since 2018, and their 4-5 record through nine games in also their worst since that same 2018 season. Southern Columbia completely controlled the ground game, outgaining the Bulldogs 385 to 55 in total rushing yards, as well as rushing for seven total touchdowns as well. Grady Garcia once again was magnificent, carrying the ball 19 times for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ayden Hockenbroch had another solid performance, going 4/7 for 80 yards and a touchdown through the air, while also adding 35 yards and 2 more touchdowns on the ground. Joey Williams and Gavin Brown also had good rushing performances, Williams carrying the ball 11 times for 73 yards and a score, while Brown carried the ball 9 times for 63 yards and a score. The Tigers also got a touchdown run from sophomore running back Orion Wojowicz, his first of the season. Hockenbroch’s lone touchdown pass went to Jace Malakoski, who caught 2 passes for 34 yards in the contest. With their inability to run the football, Jersey Shore had to turn to the passing game for most of their offense. Nolen Pauling had one of his cleanest games statistically through the air, going 11/18 for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns, with this being his second highest completion percentage in a game this season at 61.1%, as well as being the third week in a row without an interception. Pauling was also Jersey Shore’s top rusher, carrying the ball 8 times for 47 yards, his second lowest total of the season. Pauling’s top target was Carter Rhinehart, who caught 7 passes for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns, with no other player catching more than one pass. His other touchdown went to Dalton Rehrig, who caught one pass for a 71 yard score. While Southern Columbia’s defense did not come away with any interceptions, they still racked up 3 fumble recoveries in the game, as well as 4 tackles for loss.

Blue Mountain 34, Shamokin 14

One of the more shocking games of the season, as Shamokin is handed their first regular season loss since 2023 by Blue Mountain on the road 34-14. Blue Mountain was in control for most of the game, but a few red zone possessions that came up empty along with a late injury to Logan Steele was just too much to overcome for the Indians. Steele was still the engine behind Shamokin’s offense, going 4/11 for 102 yards and a touchdown through the air, while adding 18 carries for 177 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Steele’s one touchdown pass went to Ryan Bickert, who caught 4 passes for 51 yards and a score. As mentioned before, Shamokin had multiple opportunities in the red zone to score and came up empty, however the biggest play of the game was an 101 yard pick six from Blue Mountain’s Lucas Pritiskutch in the second half that completely shifted the momentum in the Eagles favor. That was also the play that Steele was injured on, as he injured himself attempting to make the tackle after throwing the interception. Offensively for Blue Mountain, they had a very balanced performance, quarterback Cohen Kirby was efficient, going 10/14 for 181 yards and a touchdown, as well as adding 17 more yards and a score on the ground. The leader of Blue Mountain’s ground game was Brody Foose, who carried the ball 19 times for 122 yards and a touchdown, while Sonny Amato also added a rushing touchdown to go along with 6 carries for 45 yards. Chase Guers was Kirby’s top target, catching 4 passes for 76 yards and his lone touchdown of the night. Shamokin’s loss marked the end of a 28 game regular season win streak, their last regular season loss before this was October 27th of 2023 against Mount Carmel.

Lewisburg 35, Milton 14

The Green Dragons continue their hot streak, winning their fifth game over the past seven weeks, taking down Milton on the road 35-14. Lewisburg never trailed in this game, however Milton went punch for punch with them in the first half, as Lewisburg only led 21-14 going into halftime, ultimately though the Green Dragons pulled away in the second half. Once again, Lewisburg found a good chunk of their offense through the passing game, as Xavier Carter went 13/21 for 244 yards and all 5 of Lewisburg’s touchdowns, Carter’s third game of the year with five passing touchdowns. While Lewisburg didn’t account for any scores on the ground, freshman running back Ethan Coleman still had an excellent showing, carrying the ball 24 times for 111 yards, his second week in a row with at least 100 rushing yards. Carter’s top target was Drake Osunde, who racked up 5 catches for 111 yards and 3 touchdowns, his first game of the season with three receiving touchdowns. Owen Fellon and Jaylen Walker also caught touchdowns from Carter, Fellon hauled in 3 passes for 72 yards and a score, while Walker also hauled in 3 passes for 42 yards and a score. All of Milton’s offensive production came in the second quarter, with most of it coming from the passing game. Paxton Humphrey went 13/21 for 225 yards and 2 touchdowns, however we has picked off once by Fellon. Humphrey’s top target was Kamryn Wilson, who caught 3 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown, while Ja’Cori Brown led the team in receptions with 6, turning those into 73 yards and a touchdown.

Mifflinburg 21, Montoursville 7

The Wildcats notched their sixth consecutive win, as Mifflinburg took down Montoursville in a low scoring 21-7 victory, improving to 7-2 on the season. Mifflinburg’s six game win streak is their longest since 2011, when they opened up the season with seven straight wins before losing three of their final four games. Mifflinburg, despite the win, struggled to move the ball for most of the game on the ground, their 152 total rushing yards was Mifflinburg’s lowest total since their week 3 loss to Bloomsburg. Despite the lack of efficiency on the ground, that’s where all of Mifflinburg’s touchdowns came from, quarterback Brennen Snyder ran the ball 12 times for 49 yards and 2 touchdowns, while running back Landon Moser got the bulk of the work with 23 carries for 90 yards and a touchdown. Snyder had a solid game through the air, going 6/11 for 117 yards, his top target being Jackson Marr who hauled in 4 passes for 99 yards. Montoursville also struggled in the run game, racking up just 64 total yards on the ground, with their leading rusher being Kaden Kleinman who turned 14 carries into 57 yards. The Warriors’ lone touchdown also came on the ground though, on a 5 yard run from Mason Lapinski in the fourth quarter. Most of Montoursville’s offensive production came in the passing game, Elijah Eck went 17/34 for 210 yards, his fourth game in the past five weeks with 200 or more passing yards. Brayden Burkett was Eck’s top target, catching 6 passes for 82 yards. Montoursville had three different possessions in the first half that reached Miffllinburg territory, two of those reaching the red zone including one that featured a fourth and goal at the one yard line right before halftime. However, the Warriors came up empty on all three of those possessions, which ultimately proved to be costly for Montoursville.

Bloomsburg 41, Danville 8

The Panthers are winners of nine straight games, earning a 41-8 home blowout win and improving to 9-0, one win away from their first undefeated regular season in school history. Bloomsburg dominated the game entirely, holding the Ironmen off the scoreboard until the fourth quarter, and outgaining Danville 451 to 185 in total yards. Shane Frey had another good performance, going 11/16 for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns, as well as adding 7 carries for 43 yards and another touchdown on the ground. Julius Serrano, Jharee Moore-Stewart, and Bilal Washington all added touchdowns on the ground for Bloomsburg, Serrano had 4 carries for 68 yards and a score, Moore-Stewart had 8 carries for 49 yards and a score, and Washington had 5 carries for 42 yards and a score as well. Moore-Stewart was also the leader in the receiving game, catching 6 passes for 93 yards, however it was Serrano and Brayden Holbert that caught Frey’s touchdown passes. Serrano hauled in just one pass for 14 yards and a score, while Holbert caught 3 passes for 58 yards and a score. Danville’s lone score came in the fourth quarter on a 50 yard run from Landon Bennett, which was his only carry of the game and also led the team. Quarterback Macon Patrick went 9/16 for 76 yards and was picked off once by Shane Frey, Patrick also added 21 yards on the ground to his totals. Bloomsburg’s defense had another great performance, racking up the interception from Frey along with 12 tackles for loss and a sack from Malcolm Tagba.

Midd-West 14, Central Columbia 10

The Mustangs rallied late to survive against winless Central Columbia, taking down the Blue Jays on the road 14-10 for their second win of the season. Central Columbia had built a 10-0 lead going into halftime and the score stayed that way all the way through the third quarter, however two late scores by Midd-West was just enough to power them to victory. Both of the Mustangs’ fourth quarter touchdowns came through the air, which is where majority of their offense came from. Witten Carter went 13/22 for 245 yards and 2 touchdowns, which ended up being the difference as Midd-West could only manage 26 rushing yards in the game. Carter’s top receiver was Konnor Kullman, who caught 4 passes for 108 yards, however it was D’Angelo Drumheller and Mason Fultz who hauled in Carter’s touchdown passes. Drumheller caught 4 passes for 47 yards and a score, while Fultz caught just 2 passes for 24 yards and a score. The Blue Jays were the opposite on offense, as quarterback Blake Edgar went just 4/19 for 54 yards through the air, while the team managed 227 total yards on the ground. Owen Zanoline was the leader of the backfield, carrying the ball 23 times for 118 yards and Central Columbia’s only touchdown, while Edgar also added 92 yards on 14 carries. Midd-West’s defense came up big in this game, picking off Edgar three times, with Drumheller, Kullman, and Aiden Rose all came away with interceptions. Midd-West’s Jared Devine also had a phenomenal performance defensively, racking up 4 tackles for loss and 3 sacks. Isaac Reeves came away with an interception for Central Columbia’s defense, while Darin Blake recorded the team’s only sack in the game.

Mount Carmel 49, Central Mountain 21

The Red Tornadoes win their ninth straight game, and they now stand as one of two remaining undefeated teams in District 4, as they crushed Central Mountain at home 49-21. Mount Carmel had built a 35-7 lead by halftime, led 42-7 after the third quarter, and led 49-14 in final four minutes of the game, completely controlling the contest start to finish. Mount Carmel finished the game with 380 total rushing yards, which is the seventh time this season that they have rushed for at least 370 yards. This week the ground game was led by Cooper Karycki, who turned 9 carries into 128 yards and 2 touchdowns, which was his fifth game of the year with at least two rushing touchdowns. Jaylen Delaney had another great performance both through the air and on the ground, he went a perfect 5/5 for 67 yards and 2 touchdowns, and on the ground he added 102 rushing yards on just 3 carries. Jaxon Boblick, Michael Higgins, and Jason Klokis all ran for a touchdown each, Boblick carried the ball 3 times for 45 yards and a score, Higgins carried the ball 4 times for 28 yards and a score, and Klokis had just one carry for 2 yards and a score. Both Max and Cooper Karycki caught touchdowns from Delaney, Max caught 2 passes for 32 yards and a score, while Cooper caught 2 passes for 28 yards and a score. Central Mountain racked up a season high 364 total yards in the game, and their 21 points is their second highest total of the season as well. Quarterback Alex Johnson went 20/33 for 178 yards and a touchdown, his lone touchdown pass went to Mason Masorti who caught 5 passes for 45 yards as well. Kyle Everett led the ground game, carrying the ball 20 times for 86 yards and a touchdown, Gavin Heverly also had one carry for an 80 yard touchdown.

Hughesville 10, Loyalsock 7

The Spartans have now won 4 out of their last 5 games, as they took down Loyalsock on the road in a low scoring affair 10-7, as both teams’ records now sit at 4-5. After beginning the season 0-4, Hughesville has racked up wins over Northwest Area, Midd-West, Warrior Run, and now Loyalsock. The Lancers actually outgained Hughesville 241 to 218 in total yards, however three forced turnovers by Hughesville’s defense proved to be the difference for the Spartans. All of Hughesville’s offense came from the ground game, with Chase Schrawder leading the way with 34 carries for 132 yards, however their lone touchdown came from Connor Anstadt, who had 5 carries for 41 yards and a score. Anstadt and Cael Bowman both came away with fumble recoveries, while Aviel Harry came away with an interception for Hughesville’s defense. Dyson Dupont struggled through the air, going 7/18 for just 77 yards, which tied his season low, and threw both a touchdown and an intercepion. Dupont’s lone touchdown pass went to Carter Brown on a 4 yard completion, which was Brown’s only catch of the game, Dupont’s top target was Zion Cobb who had 3 catches for 47 yards. Dupont also added 71 yards on the ground on 24 carries, the leader of the backfield though was Cayden Sones who carried the ball 17 times for 93 yards. Loyalsock has been on the exact opposite trajectory, losing 4 of their last 5 games since starting the year 3-1.

Ridgeway 48, Bucktail 0

After winning their first on field game in three years last week, the Bucks’ struggles resumed, as they fell to Ridgeway at home 48-0, dropping to 1-6 on the year. Bucktail was held to a little over 100 total yards in the game, and it marked the third time in the past four weeks that Bucktail’s defense had given up 40 or more points. Ridgeway is now 6-3 on the year, and the win brought their two game skid to an end after back to back blowout losses. The Elkers racked up 444 yards of total offense, with 321 of those coming from the ground game which was led by Markus Gerg, who turned 9 carries into 102 yards and a touchdown, the only 100 yard rusher of the game from either side. Owen Steger, Anson Magnusson, and Jace Zimmerman all ran for touchdowns as well, Steger rushed for 60 yards and a score, Magnusson rushed for 23 yards and a score, and Zimmerman rushed for 22 yards and 2 touchdowns. Steger also went 2/2 for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, completing a 67 yard touchdown pass to Brandon Steger, and a 56 yard touchdown pass to Liam Kilpeck. Line Mountain 41, Juniata 0

The Eagles continue to roll, cruising past Juniata on the road 41-0 for their second straight win and improving to 8-1 on the season. Line Mountain’s defense pitched their first shutout of the season, their last shutout actually came against this same Juniata team on September 5th of 2025, which was Line Mountain’s only shutout last season as well. The Eagles also held the Indians’ offense to just 106 total yards and forced two turnovers as well.
