2026 District 4 Power Rankings: Week 3 Edition

We are now three weeks into the 2026 season, the top 3 teams still have not moved, and even the top 5 teams have settled into their spots. Still plenty of movement behind them, and there’s going to be some big time games this week that will definitely shift up the rankings next week. So let’s take a look at where all these teams stand after week 3.
Top 10 Teams
#1: Southern Columbia (3-0)
Last Week: #1
Three straight wins for the Tigers, last week being the most dominant one yet. Southern Columbia crushed the previously #6 ranked Montoursville Warriors at home 48-13, in a game where Southern Columbia just completely dominated start to finish. This week the Tigers are back on the road as they will face Lewisburg.
#2: Shamokin (3-0)
Last Week: #2
Shamokin dominated Shikellamy at home last week, shutting down the Braves offense completely and getting a 37-0 shutout victory. This marks the third consecutive season that Shamokin has began their season 3-0, but just like each of the past 2 seasons, their biggest test is coming in week 4. The Indians will be at home this week, welcoming in #3 ranked Jersey Shore.
#3: Jersey Shore (3-0)
Last Week: #3
The offense got back to its usual self after a down week against Montoursville, dropping 49 points on Selinsgrove in a 49-7 home victory. This Jersey Shore team once again looks electric and looks like one of the best in the entire state, but as mentioned before, their biggest game of the regular season comes this week. Jersey Shore will be back on the road this week facing #2 ranked Shamokin.
#4: Montgomery (3-0)
Last Week: #4
Montgomery took care of business last week in an ugly 12-6 victory against South Williamsport. In a game where conditions were not ideal at all, the Red Raiders got it done, which keeps their undefeated streak going and keeps them ranked at #4. This week the Red Raiders have a big challenge on the road, as they will be on the road facing Troy who is an honorable mention.
#5: Bloomsburg (3-0)
Last Week: #5
The Panthers ran away from Mifflinburg in the second half, as they took down the previously #8 ranked Mifflinburg Wildcats 38-14. Bloomsburg did a very good job in that game capitalizing off of Mifflinburg’s mistakes, and this team looks like it hasn’t missed a beat from last season. This week they have another big test, as they will welcome to town #9 ranked Warrior Run.
#6: Mount Carmel (3-0)
Last Week: #7 (+1)
Mount Carmel’s offense is on an insane pace right now, as they took down Milton 48-14 which marked the third straight game where they’ve scored at least 47 points. Their backfield duo has the potential to be one of the most dangerous duos in the state with the pace that they are on right now. The Red Tornadoes have another District 11 foe this week, as they are on the road facing North Schuylkill.
#7: Line Mountain (3-0)
Last Week: #9 (+2)
The Eagles had arguably their best offensive performance yet last week, taking down Northern Bedford 45-18. Even with the number of seniors that Line Mountain lost last season, this team has yet to miss a beat, starting 3-0 for the second consecutive year. Line Mountain will be back on the road this week taking on Upper Dauphin.
#8: Athens (2-1)
Last Week: #10 (+2)
The Wildcats got back to the form we saw out of them to start the year last week, taking down Cowanesque Valley 49-13. It was a rough game for them against Troy two weeks ago, so this performance was a much needed confidence booster for Athens. The Wildcats have another road test this week, as they will be facing South Williamsport.
#9: Warrior Run (3-0)
Last Week: Honorable Mention #1
Warrior Run got a very impressive 42-7 victory against Midd-West last week, with the offense seemingly clicking on all cylinders. This Defenders team looks like its kept its firepower from 2025, and this team looks like it’s ready to build off of their success from a season ago. Warrior Run has a big time test on the road this week, as they will face #5 ranked Bloomsburg.
#10: Williamsport (3-0)
Last Week: Not Ranked
The Millionaires have started to turn some heads to begin the year, taking down Central Mountain 34-10 last week in their third consecutive dominant victory. Williamsport has faced all District 2 opponents so far, however the offense has looked amazing in all three of those games. This week they will face their first District 4 opponent of the season, welcoming in Shikellamy.
Honorable Mentions
HM #1: Troy (2-1)
Last Week: Honorable Mention #3
Defense was the name of the game for the Trojans last week, as they took down Towanda at home 23-7. Troy neutralized one of the district’s highest scoring offenses last week, prior to playing Troy the Black Knights had scored 101 points through two games. Troy has another big test this week, as they will be welcoming to town #4 ranked Montgomery.
HM #2: Loyalsock (2-1)
Last Week: Not Ranked
Loyalsock bounced back in a big way last week, taking down Wellsboro 35-7 after losing to Bloomsburg by 7 points two weeks ago. The defense did a great job containing the Hornets’ offense, while the Lancers offense looked just as effective as it has in their previous two games. Loyalsock is on the road this week facing Midd-West.
HM #3: Muncy (2-1)
Last Week: Not Ranked
The Indians dismantled the Redskins last week, taking down Sayre in a 56-0 shutout victory. So far through three weeks, Muncy’s only blemish was their 14-7 loss to Warrior Run to open the year, which they have followed up with back to back statement victories. Muncy will be at home this week, as they will welcome in Towanda.
