Circle W Sports Launches Showcase Affiliate Program

WELLSBORO, PA – Circle W Sports has launched the Showcase Affiliate Program, a new initiative designed to connect more student-athletes with Showcase while giving booster clubs, athletic organizations, sports clubs and other groups an additional way to raise money for their programs.
The program is free for organizations to join and provides each participating affiliate with a dedicated Showcase link and QR code to share with student-athletes and families.
Athletes who sign up through an affiliate can create a basic Showcase profile for free. Families can then choose to upgrade to one of Showcase’s premium membership levels for access to additional features and resources.
When eligible premium memberships are purchased through an affiliate’s dedicated link, a portion of the purchase goes back to the participating organization.
“The idea behind the Affiliate Program is that everybody involved should benefit,” said Ed Weaver, owner of Circle W Sports. “The athlete gets a platform they can use to promote themselves and preserve their athletic career, their family gets access to resources that can help them through the recruiting process, and the organization supporting those athletes has an opportunity to generate additional revenue.”
Showcase was developed by Circle W Sports to give student-athletes a centralized online home for their athletic careers.
Athletes can use their profiles to highlight accomplishments, photos, videos, statistics, records, workouts and other milestones throughout their careers. Each profile can also be shared through a personalized link and QR code, giving athletes an easy way to share their information with college coaches, recruiters, family members, fans and their communities.
While Showcase includes tools designed for student-athletes interested in competing at the collegiate level, Circle W Sports developed the platform for all athletes, regardless of whether college athletics is part of their future.
“Recruiting is an important part of Showcase, but it isn’t the only reason we built it,” Weaver said. “Every student-athlete puts years of work into their sport, and we want them to have a place where that career can live. Whether they’re trying to get the attention of a college coach or they simply want something they can look back on years from now, Showcase gives them that home.”
The Showcase Affiliate Program expands that mission by working directly with organizations already connected to student-athletes.
Booster clubs, school-affiliated organizations, sports clubs, training programs and other eligible groups can become affiliates at no cost. Once enrolled, Circle W Sports provides the organization with its dedicated link and QR code along with resources to help introduce Showcase to its athletes and families.
“We wanted to create something different from the typical fundraiser,” Weaver said. “Instead of asking families to buy something just to raise money, we’re giving the athlete a product they can actually use. If they decide a premium Showcase membership is right for them, they’re also helping support the organization that’s supporting them.”
Showcase also offers an Athlete Assessment designed to help student-athletes and families evaluate areas including athletic profile development, recruiting readiness and college planning readiness.
The assessment provides families with a clearer picture of where an athlete currently stands and identifies areas they may want to focus on as they move through their high school career.
