Jenkintown Cancels Season Abruptly

Wednesday afternoon Jenkintown decided to halt its program for the rest of the 2026 season due to low numbers after two games. The program will still hold practice for the remaining players who are healthy with the hopes of rebuilding the team for next year. Jenkintown is the smallest program in Montgomery County and administrators had to decide between forfeiting future games when there weren’t enough healthy players to field a team or do what they ultimately decided which was to shut the program down for the rest of the year.
