Notre Dame Green-Pond leaves Catasauqua in the dust, winning 55-0 in their return home to Notre Dame High School after 2 years of  playing at Lafayette while their athletic facilities were under renovation. Not only was this a big night in the Crusaders return home, but it was also a night in which the late Crusader coach Anthony Casciano would be honored, in which the Crusaders delivered Thursday night in honor of him in the big win. Two trophies in is honor would also be given out at the end of the game to each teams respective MVP of the night, called the Coach Casciano Memorial Award, in which Notre Dame’s Aaron Gordon received the awarded with this trophy for his multi-touchdown performance, whilst the Rough Rider’s Tuari Wright was awarded the honor for Catasauqua. The Crusaders move on to 5-0 on the year and look to keep their momentum going into their matchup next Friday against Palisades back at home.
