After playing football for the last 4 years at Malvern prep, Stephen Smith will further his academic and athletic career at Penn State University.
Smith has been an important player to the Malvern prep football team making an impact on both sides of the ball. The senior plays wide receiver for the fairs as well as a free safety.
Stephan Smith’s impact was especially seen in one of Malvern Prep’s biggest matchups this season when the Friars took on the La Salle Explorers (the 2025 State Champions) at Ocean City High School. Malvern Prep took home a victory beating the explorers 21-0.
Throughout his time at Malvern, Smith has put together some an incredible stats. Just this season, he has recorded 37 receiving yard along with a 64 kickoff-return yards. Showing his skills in the passing and special teams game.
After 4 years of high school football playing for the fairs, Smith will take the next step of his football career. His commitment to play at Penn State will give him an opportunity to show off his skills at a higher level.
