In a heavyweight matchup featuring 2 explosive offenses, the Becahi Golden Hawks are set to take on the Freedom Patriots in a critical BASD Stadium showdown. The teams feature two gunslinging QBs in Axel Burkart and Michael Stofanak who can go toe-to-toe with any team in District 11 and have no shortage of weapons around them.

The Golden Hawks enter this matchup at 5-1 and are coming off a 49-14 rout of East Stroudsburg South on the road. Burkart finished with 8 completions for 262 yards and 4 TDs on the night, with Carter Vassa picking up 4 receptions for 131 yards and 2 TDs. RB Justin Martinez finished with a strong game on the ground with 10 carries for 104 yards and 3 TDs. The Golden Hawks are firing on all cylinders offensively and won all their games by multiple scores besides their opener 21-20 against Delaware Valley and figure to be a tough test for their stadium rivals.

The Patriots come into this game coming off a rout of East Stroudsburg North 59-0. Although QB Michael Stofanak only finished with 3 attempts for 71 yards and 2 TDs in the game, their strong rushing attack, led by Lashawn Johnson, who had 8 carries for 61 yards and 3 TDs was the main difference maker in that contest. Jahaire Hughes and Braeden Lewis had a TD each on the ground as well. While the Patriots rushing attack remains lethal, the team will need Stofanak and the passing attack, led by WR Davyan Moore, to get going to keep pace with their rivals.

This game is a coin flip with both teams being stadium rivals and 2 offenses that can light up the scoreboard, between the Burkart to Vassa connection, and the Stofanak to Moore connection. Add in 2 running backs in Justin Martinez and Lashawn Johnson that can rush for 100+ yards with ease, you have the makings for an all time classic at BASD Stadium this Friday at 7 PM. Tune in to find out which stadium rival will take home the bragging rights in 2026!
