A Comeback Win to Cap off the Regular Season

South Western –  The Spring Grove Rockets faced off against the South Western Mustangs in the final game of the regular football season. With playoff implications on the table as well as a storied rivalry between both teams, the Rockets and Mustangs have always put on a show when facing each other. This year was no different. The Mustangs led most of the game, as the Rockets trailed all the way until the final minutes of the 4th quarter. The Rockets first lead took place after a last chance field goal by kicker Ryan Brooks. The late field goal put up the Rockets 24-23 against the Mustangs, ultimately becoming the final score. Spring Grove walks out of South Western with a (8-2) record on the season and a rivalry win on their backs. South Western finishes off the season with a (6-4) record, barely missing the top 12 bracket for the  district playoffs. Further detailed report coming soon.
