The Lions improved from 5-5 last season, going 1-4 in conference play last season to finish their regular season 9-1 overall, 5-0 in conference games this season, and are ranked 4th in PA Football News rankings for 4A schools.

The Lions started the season 4-0, shutting out Peters Township and Trinity in that stretch. The Team’s only loss came against Upper Saint Clair, 31-7.

South Fayette turned the second half of the season into a dominant performance, averaging 52 points in their conference games, while allowing only 27 total points in those five games.
