Abington Bounces Back With A 13-0 Win Against Norristown

After last week’s loss against Kennett High School. Abington knew they had to comeback with a strong win.

Last night, Abington took on Norristown High School and won 13-0. Giving a much needed win.

During the first half Abington started off strong, with a touchdown. This touchdown was made by senior Caleb Smith and a field goal from junior Kaleb Adams.

In the lead, Abington scored again in the second half by Senior captain Kia Taylor rushing it into the end zone. With the intense rivalry during the game from both teams it helped make the game very heated.

“Change doesn’t happen by talking it’s done by playing” said smith in a after game interview 

This was very true for this game.

When Sophomore Eli Hanson and Junior T.j. Barry saw how Norristown defense played. They made adjustments during the game to stop the other team from getting into the end zone.

Overall a win for Abington this week, we all hope to see this streak of winning to continue the rest of the season. Follow along as next week they take on Council Rock North.
