Abington is on a winning streak || Beats Council Rock North 38-0

Abington is on a winning streak, Abington earned a 38-0 win against Council Rock North.

This is a big win for Abington as we saw last game they only won by 13.

After one of their star players Senior Captain Kia Taylor got injured leaving him out for parts of the game, Abington knew they had to step up.

During the first quarter of the game we saw Senior Caleb Smith make 2 touchdowns ending Abington in the lead by 13-0.

During the second quarter we saw another touchdown made by senior Caleb Smith as well as another touchdown made by Junior Lucas Jordan. Making abington take a lead of 26-0 into halftime

In the 3rd quarter we saw a touchdown made by Senior Caleb Smith and EJ Dickerson. Ending the 3rd quarter 38-0 lead.

In the 4th quarter the pressure was on for abington to make sure they end with a win. A couple mistakes were made but all coaches for Abington adjusted and made the changes. In the end no touchdowns were made in the 4th quarter from either side.

In the end Abington took home a win for the second week in the row, ending score was 38-0.

I got to talk to a couple players after the game. I asked “ what do you think changed from Abington football this year compared to last year” with many responding they all told me the energy, the mentality and overall how they played.
