Bellefonte stops Bison stampede thanks to Jodon’s career night (pics)

HYDE — Bellefontes  Parker Jodon took the opening kickoff 91 yards, speeding past several Bison defenders with just 13 seconds ticking off the clock.  before going up on host Clearfield 21-0 with 13 seconds left in the first quarter. But the Bison closed it to 21-14 and later 28-21, before falling short on one last offensive push to set the final at the 28-21 score. The Red Raiders hadn’t beaten the Bison since 2019, but came out quick and hard, sending Clearfield back on its heelsThe Raiders then forced Clearfield to turn it over on downs, giving them back the ball at their own 38.

Jodon had a career night. The kick return, 3 td receptions (30, 41 and 52 yards) then picked off the Clearfield QB  to halt a late drive. Bellefonte got the win 28-21
