Bethlehem Catholic QB Axel Burkart Commits to the University of New Hampshire

Golden Hawks star QB announced his commitment to the University of New Hampshire to play for the Wildcats football team. After having a conversation with Coach Goldrich and receiving his first Division 1 offer from there, Burkart quickly made up his mind on where he wanted to be.

Burkart also had workouts at Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Villanova, Rutgers, New Haven, Temple, Penn State, Penn, Notre Dame, Lehigh, Princeton, Michigan, and Delaware during his time as the Bethlehem Catholic starting QB. Burkart had a strong junior season which included 96 completions for 1,475 yards and 12 TDs, as well as 37 rushes for 287 yards and 8 TDs.

Burkart will now turn his attention to finishing his senior campaign strong which included a nail biting season opening win 21-20 over the Delaware Valley Warriors, in which he finished with 16 completions for 279 yards and 2 TDs through the air.
