Why do you play football?

Kevin: I play football because I feel that it’s a way out because I wasn’t playing too many sports my Freshman year I was focused on basketball. My older brother persuaded me to play and try football. And once I stepped on the field it was a connection and I was using it as a way out from the environment I was in before and make it better for me and my family. 

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Kevin: My First time starting, last year the starter got hurt and the best feeling was the atmosphere, and seeing the fans and cheering it’s just memorable.  

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Kevin: Lebron James, definitely just because of the way he carries himself on and off the court. You don’t really hear him like other guys that get caught up in the scene. I’ve never seen him in a controversial situation and he’s always training and focusing on family. 

Who is your biggest fan and why? 

Kevin: My older brother, he’s been there for every single one of my games and telling me what to do and what not to do. He’s early and always there to support me. 

What is your desired major in college?

Kevin: Marketing  

What are some team goals for this upcoming season? 

Kevin: Just want to win games, last year wasn’t the best and now we want to come together as a team. And lead a way for the youth. 

How has COVID-19 affected you?

Kevin: The most it has affected me was for recruiting camps got canceled and so have visits. 

Favorite play to run?

Kevin: Screenplays when the running back runs right behind me. 

What is your personal goal for this season?

Kevin: Get my body right, I want to be different and be able to work on myself.

Favorite pre-game meal?

Kevin: Protein burritos

Sports movie?

Kevin: Friday Night Lights 

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Kevin: Hockey or rugby  

Is a hot dog a sandwich? 

Kevin: No 

Favorite activities?

Kevin: Playing basketball, spending time with family, and walk around.
