Why do you play football?
I play football because it was and still is a way of releasing the stress of everyday life. Also, my grandfather was very passionate about the sport and I wanted to make him happy, but eventually, I grew to love it.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
My best memory from Football is going to a four-day camp with the whole team. I have so many memories from that camp it would be impossible to recite them all. We grew really close to one another at that camp and forged unbreakable bonds.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
My favorite pro athlete is DeAndre Hopkins, he balls out on the field every time he touches it and I inspire to be just like that when I get onto the field.
Who is your biggest fan and why?
My biggest fan is my mom, she is at every one of my games, she washes my sweaty clothes every day after practice, and she supports me with all I do.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
My dad is my role model in my life. He is the hardest working man I’ve ever met and I will always look up to him.
What is your desired major in college?
My desired major in college is Business and Culinary Arts.
Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?
There are going to be a lot more games with a lot more to prove. Excited to play a full season of football.
Favorite play to run?
I enjoy any pass plays. I enjoy getting to use the techniques that I practice daily effectively.
What is your personal goal for this season?
To be more of a leader on and off the field and be the best player I can be.
Favorite pre-game meal?
My favorite pre-game meal is a good Chick-fil-A sandwich and a strawberry-banana Body Armor.
Sports movie?
The Longest Yard.
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
A sport I’d love to play is soccer. But unfortunately, the season is during football season.
Most embarrassing sports moment?
My most embarrassing moment was the summer before my Sophomore season, we were doing summer conditioning and on the final suicide, I fell face first at the 5-yard line before finishing. Everyone started laughing at me because I had turf all over my body and face.
What are you looking forward to most this year?
Seeing how far my Senior group has come and see what we can achieve this year.
Favorite activities?
My favorite activities outside of football are video games and watching movies.
