Why do you play football?
I love being on the field with the bright lights and big crowds, but the part I love most people don’t see. I love the locker rooms, I love the team dinners, and my favorite part is building close bonds with my teammates.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
Winning the district championship. It was the best experience watching the work we put in all off-season finally pay off.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
Tom Brady. His will to be the best and the way he leads every team he plays with really inspires me to do the same for my teams.
Who is your biggest fan and why?
My family, especially my mom who is so supportive of me and my goals.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
My dad is a very hard worker. I try to be like him by being persistent in trying to become the best version of myself.
What is your desired major in college?
Business.
Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?
With fans being allowed back I think this season is going to be crazy, as I love the big games and the atmosphere that comes with playing under pressure.
Favorite play to run?
Not necessarily a certain play, but the fourth downplays or the 2-minute drill are my favorite.
What is your personal goal for this season?
I want to get back to the state semifinals and make the championship game.
Favorite pre-game meal?
I eat Skittles before every game.
Sports movie?
Remember The Titans is my favorite movie ever.
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
Golf, I am very competitive but can’t play so it is super frustrating.
Most embarrassing sports moment?
In my first game back from an injury in basketball my Freshman year I air-balled my first three-point shot.
What are you looking forward to most this year?
I am looking forward to the big crowds and great Friday night atmosphere.
Favorite activities?
like helping the younger youth teams become better whether it is football or basketball. I really enjoy coaching.
