What are your expectations for your team this year?
We return a number of experienced players…we have 38 seniors…we have a tremendous group of leaders…we are physically very strong and we are close knit and selfless. We always look to take what we have and make the best of it, and we very excited to see what this team can do.
When your team is on offense, what are the keys to success?
Our offense, like everybody’s, relies heavily on our offensive line. We have good size, good depth, experience and intelligence returning. Max Busenkell is a great athlete who takes over at QB; Shane Reynolds is a Navy recruit who returns at fullback.
When your team is on defense, what are the keys to success?
We return 8 starters from what was a very good defense last year. Our team speed is very good; our secondary is made up of 3, 3 year starters…we need to continue to run to the football and to be disciplined.
