Why do you play football?
I play football because I love the game. I love the feeling of being able to just hit someone full force and take them down. I train for football to stay in shape and to ensure a victory during the season. I play football to work with my teammates and get that feeling of accomplishment when we win a game.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
There was a QB sneak on JV this past season. It was a home game, we were down by a little bit and we found that the play that had always guaranteed us yards was a QB sneak and just to have our QB, Mike Wolbers, shove it up the middle. I loved this play so much because it was an amazing way to finish a play. We were all blocking towards the middle, our QB got stuck about 2 yards from the goal line. I grabbed our QB by the shoulder pads, held him and drove him forward those extra 2 yards, with the defense trying to stop him. I fell down and so did he into the endzone. We ended up winning that game I believe and me and Mike’s friendship grew from there.

What are your goals for this coming season?
I want at least 2 pancakes. 3 sacks, especially getting a sack on my friend from PJP.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game and why?
Eagles winning the superbowl. It was the first time in my life seeing someone beat the patriots and that damn tom brady. It was also one of the first times the eagles really did well in the playoffs. This game sparked my love for football. I had been playing football a couple years before the game, but after the game I really got invested in the game of football.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Remember the Titans is a classic. It shows teammates working together even in the face of hate. It’s a fantastic sports movie and I wish I could see it for the first time again.

What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
No comment, it’s not worth the running  (PFN: Well thought out answer!)

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My mom usually doesn’t yell much. Just a “Come on TY” or “Let’s go Tyler”. My dad on the other hand, it’ more pop fly advice. Something like “Get out of your head” or “Know your block”, that kind of thing.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Easy, it’s every lineman’s dream, run the ball. Stiff arm some small DB or Safety, and take it home for a touchdown.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad is my mentor. He teaches me how to be a better person. He shows me ways of solving problems that I didn’t see before. He’s a good man and I aspire to be similar to him when I’m older. My dad has always been at all my sporting events and even coached some teams that I’ve been on. He supports me no matter what I do and gives me advice when I need it. He always pushes me to be more than I thought I could be. He is the man I want to be.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Rugby, it looks like so much fun. Football on steroids, but I don’t have neither the stamina nor mass to play a full game of rugby. It would take more time than I have available to train for rugby and football at the same time.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Probably when I got a concussion my first year of play football. I stopped moving and got trucked by a kid who was somewhat smaller than me and doesn’t even play football anymore. My head hit the ground and boom, concussion.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My grandparents are my other biggest fans. They always try to come see my games whenever they can and usually after a big win or before a big game they will send me a message wishing me good luck. This past season they tried to tune into the broadcast of our games, it didn’t always work but they always tried. They want to know more about my endeavors and my progress in football and recruiting and colleges, etc. They support me in everything I do. My grandfather is my inspiration for playing an instrument.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I love playing guitar. I’m not the greatest on the planet but I love experimenting with different rhythms and notes and chords. I try to figure out what works and playing new songs. It’s entertaining and it keeps me occupied when I’m bored. I’ve been playing for about 6 years now, 4 of those I never practiced so I’m behind in some areas, but it doesn’t stop me from wanting to play whenever I can.

What is your favorite football memory to date?
Winning Battle Of The Hogs with my teammates. It was the first time Methacton has won any competition, let alone against big teams like PV, Penn Ridge, North Penn, etc. It showed me that all the hard work I have been putting in is paying off and I’m seeing results. I pushed passed where I thought my limits where and I helped the team win! I took some valuable knowledge from one of my teammates on how to hold the rope and it worked tremendously.

Music of choice:
Classic Rock, Soft Rock, a little Soul, and Miscellaneous songs

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Applebees or Buffalo Wild Wings, they’re close and easy to load up on food. In an ideal world I would go to Shady Maple, this really good buffet place up in East Earl, greatest buffet I’ve been to. Shady Maple or a Brazilian steakhouse that’s not far from my house.

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa
Wawa all the way. Wawa is what I grew up with and I refuse to accept Sheetz is better.

What is your favorite vacation destination?
Bahamas, I got a chance to go there in 2019 for spring break. Everything there is super overpriced but the water slides and the beaches are really fun. It was a once in a lifetime experience. If I could go there more often I would.
