How have the summer camps gone for you?
Extremely busy is one way I would describe it. Almost every week I am somewhere new, whether that’s for a visit or a camp. This summer is 100% focused on me improving as a Quarterback and getting my name out there to more coaches.

Other than going to camps, what have you been able to do this off-season to improve your all-around game?
I know it seems a little early but I have already begun taking notes and watching film on the teams we’re scheduled to play. Every advantage counts and this way I will be prepared no matter what look the defense may give me come game time. Making my job of reading the coverage that much easier.

What is the best part about practice along with the worst part?
I would say the environment. The culture on our team this year is great as we love to compete and challenge one another. Everyone is there to get better together and you can really see that. The worst part for sure would have to be our Thursday conditioning. But there’s no getting out of that.

What is the best advice any coach has given you, and who was it?
The best advice I’ve gotten was to just “be you”. On the outside, this seems pretty straight forward but to me, it’s a constant reminder that football doesn’t always have to be so serious. It’s a reminder to me to also stay relaxed and have fun with the game.

As far as road games go, where is the most challenging place to play? What makes it so hard?
From my experience, I would say Strath Haven. This might be because it was my first playoff start in HighSchool, but the band and fans made it extremely loud and hard to hear everything on the field. Although hard to play at I would still say it was the most fun atmosphere the play in.

Can you share with us some of the colleges that are recruiting you?
Right now I am in contact with a bunch of schools. Some are Holy Cross, Saint Francis, Monmouth, Dartmouth, Fordham, and Pace.

After the season is over, how important is it to you to be able to play in one or two of the All-Star games around the state?
Of course, the main goal for next season is to win a championship, but playing in an All-Star game would still mean a lot to me. Not only would that be recognizing my hard work but it would also be the perfect way to end my high school career with a fun game alongside players that were once my opponents.

Who is the team on the 2022 schedule that you most want to beat?
Conwell Egan is the first name that pops up because I personally have yet to beat them. I feel like we are always overlooked which I don’t like. A huge milestone for our team would also be beating our first-round district playoff opponent.

Where is the best spot in your town to eat?
I like what I like so I would have to go with China Star. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with Chinese food but that might just be me.

What is your favorite sports movie?
Easily would be The Game Plan. I would watch it on repeat every night before bed when I was younger at one point. This movie still makes me laugh to this day, and the main character just happens to be a quarterback.
