LET’S GET TO KNOW RYAN
What are your goals for the season?
To win the central league and district
Which game will you remember the most from the 2022 season, along with the reason why?
I’m going to Remember the playoff loss to strath haven because it’s something that really motivates our team for next season
Who is the best team and player you have ever faced?
The best team I’ve ever played was garnet valley my sophomore year. We’ve played a lot of great players but I would say the best player would have to be tahir mills from Ridley my sophomore year.
Of all the road games you have played in, which stadium has been the best?
I would say garnet valley is the best stadium I’ve played in, with the exception of ours of course.
Do you feel that you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids who come and root for you?
100%. We do a lot as a team to try to connect with the younger group. We have camps, go to their games, and have them as our water boys.
What has been your most embarrassing moment when it comes to playing sports?
In the 6th CYO championship, I caught a pass and started to celebrate and then got tackled from behind at the 1-yard line. I still hear about it to this day.
Where should the state finals be held?
Penn State. I think that the atmosphere that could be there at that stadium would just be unmatched.
If you could play a game in any college or pro stadium, where would it be?
In south bend at notre damn. I’ve always been a huge Notre Damn fan and seeing that atmosphere every Saturday it just looks unreal.
Who is the team you most want to beat this season?
All of them
If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?
That you don’t have to turn around when covering someone.
What would it mean to you to earn an invite to the Big 33 game or the East vs. West game?
It would mean the world to me. The Big 33 game is a game I’ve dreamt of since I was little.
What is your game-day routine?
I don’t do anything too special I just get in and get excited to play with my teammates.
Where is the best spot in town to grab a bite?
I would have to say Wawa. It’s just the go-to in Springfield.
What is a talent you have that would shock those who know you?
I’m a pretty good wiffleball player
What is your favorite animal?
A cougar of course.
