Coach Says: TJ is a three sport athlete that has his biggest plays at the biggest moment’s. He has been in highly competitive and stressful situations and is always calm, cool, and collected. His peers look to him for his leadership and determination. He brings out the best in his teammates. In football he a versatile player on offense or defense. He plays the run and pass well and can play many diverse roles on defense. On offense he is equally as talented. Whether it is running or receiving, TJ is a threat with the ball. He has the respect of his coaches and players.
Why do you play football?
I’ve been playing my whole life and love the game.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
Competing on the field with the guys that I go to work with every day!
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Pat Tillman. He was a hard nosed football player that loved his country.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
On our first offensive play of the district championship when I caught a ball in the flat and took it for 20 yards to set the tone.
What was last years season like for you?
Super fun. The amount of winning we did was awesome!
What are your goals for this coming season?
League Champ, District Champ, State Champ
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Luke Valerio in practice
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
Nick Saban because he’s been in a lot of situations where it’s win or lose with the game on the line.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
The Linc
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Eagles
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Definitely 2016 NCAA basketball national championship when Kris Jenkins hit the buzzer beater.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Coach Carter
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
I don’t know I can’t hear them.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Throw a pass to my brother on a trick play
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad. He’s a good role model.

Air balling a free throw with 1.1 seconds left in a tie game last basketball season.
