LET’S GET TO KNOW CHASE

Why do you play football?

I play football because I love being around my teammates. Being around your friends and playing the game you love makes this game great.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Jalen Hurts because he is humble and grounded at all times. Nothing phases him and he keeps the main thing the main thing.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play was from week one last year. It was towards the end of the game and we were up a score and trying to put the game away. I ran for a 20 yard touchdown that got called back for a holding penalty. The very next play we ran the ball and I ran for a touchdown again and put the game away. I remember the crowd and sideline celebrating the touchdown knowing we were going to win the game.

What was last years season like for you?

Last years season was interesting with new coaching staff coming in. But they changed the culture immediately and you could tell a change in the team. I loved how much the coaches believed in us and it made the team confident we could win every game.

What are your goals for this coming season?

My goals for this season is to make the next jump as a team. I believe we are capable of making the playoffs this season and compete and fight with anyone put in our way. This senior group has been together since elementary school and the chemistry is there. We are all ready to win games and do what it takes to win.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I would love to visit a Penn State white out game. The atmosphere looks crazy and the energy is different.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

My favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

My favorite game to watch was Alabama vs LSU in 2019. So many NFL stars on one field at the same time.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

The perfect teammate is not always the guy the nice guy. The best teammate is the one who wont let his teammates fall below the bar or the standard. The perfect teammate should be a leader on and off the field and keep themselves and teammates accountable.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

Football is good for a community because it brings people together. Having the community come together to support their local teams is a great thing.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

I would love to hurdle someone in a game. I feel like that would be a highlight of my football career.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My mentor would be my older brother because he is a college athlete and he showed me the hard work to get there.

Preseason Two a Days are:

Long but fun being with the guys.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Golfing or fishing because it is relaxing.
