Being listed as an athlete you seem to have the talent and ability to play multiple positions. Which position on the field do you like playing best?
I like playing at safety because I can come down on somebody and be a force they’d have to reckon with
What is your game day routine?
I turn my phone on do not disturb go out for breakfast with my mom and listen to some old-school hip hop.
What has your biggest achievement been on the field?
I think my biggest achievement on the field was having the most tackles for a DB on my team I was excited about that.
What was it like playing a short spring season and do you think it will give those teams who played it an advantage come fall when things are back to normal?
The spring season was pretty fun it gave us something we weren’t used to and yes I think the teams that played in the fall will have a slight advantage because they should be getting to it in the offseason seeing as though they have a longer offseason than us.
Which song blaring over the PA System gets you fired up the most?
Skrilla by Kodak can get anybody turnt before a game
Who on the team can pick you up the most after you make a big mistake?
On my team, it would have to be either Amani Ezell or Nasir Carson they were seniors during my spring season and they always made sure I was straight after I made a mistake and they really helped out a lot during the season so shout-out to them
Do you play other sports in school? Which ones?
I also run track
What is your favorite class?
My favorite class is English.
Do you prefer college or pro sports?
I prefer college it’s more electrifying
What are your personal goals for the upcoming season?
I wanna have more tackles than my dad did for his senior year and I want to lead the team in interceptions and tackles.
