This game was very slow throughout. The first quarter was very uninteresting and all around boring. The quarter ended 0-0. Wissahickon was the only team to go for it on a fourth down and punt it in the first while Methacton punted twice. The first excitement of the game came off a turnover recovered by #11 Jaden Mclean for Wissahickon at the 49. Wissahickon went down the field up into a 1st and 10 at the 12. The drive soon became 4th and 14 at the 16. Wissahickon decided to roll the dice and go for it, which in their favor worked out well. #11 Jaden Mclean got his 2nd touchdown of the year from a 16 yard lob to the left of the endzone. Wissahickon went for 2 and they got it, Tight end Max Pester #34 found his way open in the back left of the endzone for the score to go up 8-0 with 3:41 in the half.

Methacton started at the 35 and went down the field in incredible speed with a 33 yard rush by #21 Anthony Perillo getting all the way to Wiss 12 before their second timeout of the half with 1:30 in the half. Three plays later they got their first touchdown of the game. A 1 yard rush by #15 Tyler Weil-Kasper. Methacton soon also went for 2 which they got evening out the score 8-8 with 40:3 in half.

The half ended on a Wissahickon one yard rush. The game was tied 8-8 and Methacton would get the ball to start the 2nd half. Methacton brought the energy out to start the 2nd half, they came running out of the locker room with a sledgehammer and slammed it just as the horn went off. The third quarter was just a little less boring then the first quarter was. The only score of the quarter came off a 27 yard field goal in Methactons first drive. That one drive took off 7 minutes and 23 seconds in the quarter. Over half the quarter on one drive that only ended in a field goal. Wissakickons drive ended with a 4th and 9 that ended the 3rd quarter 11-8 Methacton. Wissahickon punted to start the fourth and ball went out at the 12. Tyler Weil-Kasper decided that he would give Methacton some breathing room when he ran the ball all the way to the Wiss 21. Wissahickon then put Methacton at a 4th and 9 situation, which ended badly for Wissahickon. Tyler struck again on a 19 yard touchdown to extend the lead to 18-8 with 8:57 in the game.

On Wissahickons first drive back they turned the ball over on a fumble off a bad snap. When they got the ball back they turned it over again on 4th down with an overthrown pass. Methacton ended the game on a few kneels getting them their first win. Their coach mentioned how this win will affect the team greatly morally and hopes this continutes. He also mentions how they came out intense and hungry for the win after a hard week of practice. Methacton (1-2) will move onto play Upper Perkioman (1-2) while Wissahickon (0-3) will play Simon Gratz Charter.
