Springfield Montco Spartans Give the Harriton Rams Tough Fight

On Friday Night, September 2 the Springfield Montco Spartans came out to show the Harriton Rams what it means to be a warrior with a 41 -7 win.  The Spartans ran the ball so perfectly the Rams defense had no answers for the quickness and toughness of the Spartan offense.  Within a few minutes into the first quarter the Spartans had scored.

On Offense the Rams online was not prepared for the Spartans aggressive defensive when they weren’t blitzing up the middle, they had Rams Quarterback Logan Rothberg on the run with pressure coming from the edge. This led to the Rams struggling to move the ball.  The line was unable to provide a run game for the Rams and the secondary of the Spartans was so good they made it almost impossible for Rothberg to find an open receiver.

Quarterback Dylan Mckenzie leads this offense with strength and quickness.  The way Springfield Montco is running the ball this year is going to be a problem for a lot of teams.
