Suburban One League has Three Named to PA Writers Class 6A All-State Team

Ethan Shine & Jack Donnelly from Central Bucks East & Kion Wright from Cheltenham have been selected to the PA Writers class 6A All-State Team that was released yesterday. Shine & Donnelly were a part of an 8-3 playoff team that ended in the first round at the hands of longtime rival CB West. A large part of the Patriot’s success was due to a stout offensive line but also the legs of senior running back Ethan Shine. He rushed for 1,911 yards & 25 TDs while also having 193 receiving yards and 2 more scores. Junior TE Jack Donnelly set single-season records at CB East for a TE by hauling in 36 passes for 571 yards & 4 TDs. Senior DE/OLB Kion Wright’s Cheltenham squad missed out on the playoffs with a 5-5 record but that didn’t stop the senior from wreaking havoc on the field. Kion totaled 96 tackles, 22 TFL, 17 Hurries, 7 sacks, 2 CF, & 1 FR.
