What a great Regular Season it was let’s take a look at some of the things that have happened here in Districts I and XII

Quakertown’s Banas Reaches Milestone: Quakertown’s 29-28 victory over Cheltenham gave Panthers head coach George Banas his 100-career victory.

Pair of School Records Fall for Quakertown: Aiden Burgy broke the school record for Most Receiving TDs in a season with 14 while on the defensive side of the ball, Gavin Carroll broke the record for most tackles for a loss in a career with 41.

Taylor Sets Pair of School Records for Haverford: With 224 yards rushing against Conestoga Haverford High School RB Liam Taylor raised his season total to 2286 yards and his career rushing yardage total to 3043 yards both of which set new school records both were previously held by Trey Blair.

History for Bishop Shanahan: With their 21-14 victory over Coatesville on Friday the Bishop Shanahan Eagles brought their record up to 8-2 and for the first time in school history the Eagles are Chest-Mont Champions. They claim the inaugural Chest-Mont North Division title by knocking off Downingtown West and Coatesville. In the first year that the Chest-Mont split into three Divisions West Chester Rustin claimed the Central Division and Kennett won the South Division.

Central League To have Co-Champions: Despite Springfield having defeated Strath Haven 35-14 on Friday night the Cougars and Panthers by having identical 8-1 records in the Central League will share the title. With a victory over Upper Darby on Thanksgiving Haverford can force the Central League to have Tri Champions for the second consecutive season. Last season Strath Haven, Garnet Valley, and Springfield all went 7-1 in the Central League.

Radnor-Lower Merion to Meet Again: One of the oldest rivalries in the Nation will add a chapter to their storied history when the Raptors travel to Lower Merion’s Arnold Field to battle the Aces. These two mainline rivals have met every year since 1906. It is recognized by many as the longest consecutive played public scholastic rivalry in the United States.
