Who is your favorite sports star and why?
Baker Mayfield is my favorite player because he’s very confident which leads to success and he never backs down to anything. He is short which is not the best in the NFL, but that doesn’t matter to him. Also, he is a great leader.
Why do you play football?
I play football because I enjoy everything about it. The summer workouts, spending time with friends and coaches, fighting for our school name, representing our community, and having the feeling knowing that there ten other guys on the field who got your back.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
I would say either The Benchwarmers or My all American. One makes you laugh a lot and one has a very touching story behind it.
What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
Mr.Phillian reminds me of Mr. Krabs. Serious in a way but also easy going.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My mom usually just cheers for me and says come on when I do bad. Ex. I have a bad hit in baseball. Next at bat, she says come pick your pitch. My dad never cheers he just watches and if I’m doing something wrong repeatedly he comes and tells me but only in baseball he waits till after the game in football and basketball.
Tell everyone something about you that would make them laugh out loud:
I cut my own hair when I was in second grade and I have an inverse mow-hawk right down the middle of my head.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
When I was up to bat once. My bat flew out of my hands because it was so hot out and landed by the other teams dugout and almost hit a kid
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My brother and my girlfriend are very big supporters of me. My brothers in college but when he’s home he rarely misses a game. My girlfriend travels everywhere with my parents to football, basketball, and baseball games no matter what the conditions are.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Also hunting and fishing. I enjoy playing with the dogs also. Camping is also enjoyable. So are vacations.
