What made you choose football?

That’s a simple question. It runs in the bloodline. 

What’s your favorite football memory?

When I was chosen to play in the Tim Johnson All-Star game at the age of 12 

What activities do you enjoy outside of playing football?

I love to exercise and spend time with my family. 

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

Being awarded the most improved player in wrestling. 

Who is your favorite athlete, and why?

Ernie Davis, because he was the first black college football player to be awarded the Heisman Trophy. He is significant to me because he earned it during a time when different colors of people were not looked at equally. He played through four seasons of discrimination and hate. He still won a Cotton Bowl and four outstanding seasons at Syracuse. 

What has been the most difficult part of training during the pandemic, and how did you overcome it?

It wasn’t very difficult for me because I had a pull-up rack, some dumbbells, and I did a lot of cardio. 

Do you prefer offense or defense?

I prefer defense. I love to bring the pain, but I also love blocking for my backfield. 

Who is your biggest role model?

My biggest role model is Eminen, as a music artist and what he has accomplished in the music industry. I also respect how hard he worked to get recognized. He came from the gutter, and now he is one of the greatest—also, Ernie Davis.

What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?

Go Goose! Which is my nickname. 

What are your team and personal goals for the season?

To bring us closer together as a family. We wanted to go all the way in our season. Personally, I want to play my best this season.

If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?

Ernie Davis, John F. Kennedy, Eminem 

What hobby do you have that might surprise people?

I love to draw and read. 

What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?

Hockey 

What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

To love the game as much as I do and chase greatness every day. 

What is your expectation of Kennedy Catholic football this season?

My expectation is for us to go all the way to the championship. Other teams will then know Kennedy football means business.

The Office

The Express & Remember the Titans
