What made you choose football?

I chose football because everyone has a part to play. Whether you are on the scout team or the starting roster, everyone contributes. I also enjoy being a part of something bigger than myself.

What’s your favorite football memory?

My junior high team and I were in a tight spot losing a game 24-0 starting the second quarter. We didn’t give up and came back to win the game 48-46. I had a great game with a little over 400 rushing yards.

What activities do you enjoy outside of playing football?

I enjoy weight lifting in the off-season.

What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?

I have had a 4.0 GPA throughout high school.

Who is your favorite athlete, and why?

My favorite athlete is Saquon Barkley because of his great work ethic and personality on and off the field. He is also

a playmaker that makes every game exciting to watch.

What has been the most difficult part of training during the pandemic, and how did you overcome it?

Not being able to go to the gym and having to train without a lot of equipment was a challenge. I overcame this by creating an efficient workout plan utilizing the equipment I have.

Do you prefer offense or defense?

I prefer offense because I really enjoy the feeling of scoring in the end zone.

Who is your biggest role model?

My biggest role model is my grandfather because he always inspired and encouraged me to be my best self.

What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?

When I make a mistake on the field, I can sometimes hear my dad say, “All you need is the next play.”

What are your team and personal goals for the season?

Our team goal is to win the D-10 championship and to make it as far as we can after. My goal this season is to push myself

to be the best that I can be and to contribute to my team.

If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?

I would choose Saquon Barkley, Bo Jackson, and Muhammad Ali.

What hobby do you have that might surprise people?

I like to play ping-pong.

What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?

I enjoy watching all sports in the Summer Olympics.

What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you?

No matter how tough the situation gets, always give it your all, and thrive under pressure.
