Q&A
What made you choose football?
When I was younger, my Dad and I really bonded together over football, so ever since then, football was the sport for me.
What’s your favorite football memory?
When I got my first varsity touchdown off of a punt return my sophomore year.
What activities do you enjoy outside of playing football?
I get together with some of my teammates down at the park and play some pickup basketball and sometimes play catch.
What non-football accomplishment are you most proud of?
Making honors in school each year.
Who is your favorite athlete, and why?
Minkah Fitzpatrick, I try to follow my own free safety skills after him and his game.
What has been the most difficult part of training during the pandemic, and how did you overcome it?
The fact of not being in the weight room, I try to stay hands-on outside on the nice days.
Do you prefer offense or defense?
Defense
Who is your biggest role model?
Ben Roethlisberger because he is a team player and that’s how I try to be on and off the field.
What are your parents most likely to yell from the stands?
“Go, Dawson!”
What are your team and personal goals for the season?
To win in our region and use that as momentum into playoffs. My personal goals are to be the best team player I can be and then also put my best effort forth.
If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?
Vince Lombardi, Chuck Noll, and John Madden
What hobby do you have that might surprise people?
My collection of madden games I own.
What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?
Basketball
What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you?
Passion for the game.
What is your expectation of Northwestern football this season?
To win region champs and make it as deep into playoffs as possible.

Sportscenter

Fast and the Furious
