What made you choose football?
I grew up in a big football family where everyone played in high school and some in college and just kind of was born with a love for the sport
What is your favorite football memory?
My favorite memory is my junior year against Sharpsville in a tough region game with a game winning pick 6 after being down 0-12 at the half and later winning 20-12
What activities do you enjoy outside of football?
I enjoy working out and fishing with my friends
What non-football award or accomplishment are you most proud of?
An award I’m most proud of is winning most valuable track athlete every year since I was a freshman
Who is your favorite athlete?
Connor McGregor – he approaches every match with the mentality that he’s going to win, and it won’t be close
What has been the most difficult part of offseason training during the pandemic?
The most difficult part has been trying to make up workout programs with what you have, and well I’m fortunate enough to have a bench and squat rack in my basement so it’s been a lot of hours spent down there
Who is your biggest role model?
My biggest role model is my dad, he’s helped coach me all the way up to junior high and he’s always been excited to help me accel, he’s never missed a game and I aspire to be a father like him one day
What are your team and personal goals for the season?
The goal for the season has always been to win a D10 championship, for a personal goal I’m aiming at 1000 yards on the ground and no more than 10 completed passes on me.
If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would you choose?
Abe Lincoln, Allen Iverson, Will Farrel, they’re just a bunch of certified ballers and I think it would make for some great convos
What hobby do you enjoy that might surprise people?
I love to fish
What’s your favorite sport, other than football, to play or watch?
I like watching basketball and it’s something that’s easy to play with friends in the summer What is one thing you hope other players can learn from you? That at the end of the day it’s the Team that lost or won, not one person, it takes everyone to do their job to win
