What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
Our offense needs to improve on finishing drives and attacking the line of scrimmage. Too many times we drove the field and stalled out inside the red zone whether it was penalties or due to the lack of a push up front. This is where we focused our offseason, being in the weight room and bringing in some new line coaches who will take these kids to the next level. We return a group of kids who have a ton of starts under their belt so we have lofty expectations for this season.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
The defense will have to adjust to new Defensive Coordinators that were brought in this year. Everything has been simplified and we are going to focus on fundamentals like tackling and using our sideline to sideline speed to our advantage. We did a great job last year of forcing turnovers and we want to build upon that this year.
