Oil City has been on a nice three-year run. What will it take to take things to the next level?

To keep rolling this coming year we will definitely need kids to step up. Especially our lineman due to the fact we lost all but two for this coming year.

Which side of the ball do you like best?

I prefer playing on defense because I feel that I can be more physical on that side of the ball

How important is team unity on and off of the field?

Team unity is definitely the most important thing about a team. You absolutely need everyone at all times and need to push each other to play the best possible.

Have you received any letters from any colleges about playing football? If so which ones?

I have received messages from Akron, Toledo, Miami OH, Slippery Rock, Virginia Military Institute, Clarion, Lehigh, Fordham, Columbia, Harvard, Yale, Eastern Kentucky University, Princeton, Marshall, and Richmond.

Which other sports do you play?

I also wrestle.

What is the one thing you feel you need to improve on to take your game to another level?

I feel to take my skill to the next level I need to work on and increase my speed.

What is your game day routine?

My pregame routine always consists of a nap before we show up at the field and then stretching before we team stretch.

What is your go-to pump me up song?

My go-to song would have to be “The way I live”

What is your favorite class?

Biology II would be my favorite class.

What advice would you give to that seventh-grader getting ready to take the field for the first time?

My advice would be to keep your head up and get the butterflies out early. Everyone gets them but after the first play, once they are all gone, it’s time to play ball. Work hard and stay focused on the field.
