Why do you play football?

There are multiple reasons why I play. I play because I simply enjoy the game. Also, the game teaches me lessons that I will carry with me and implement throughout my future. Mostly, football for me is an outlet away from all of the negative aspects of life.

What has been your best memory from football so far?

Winning a well-earned Region Championship with my guys.

Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

Easy answer, Drew Brees. A lifelong idol as he is a proficient example of a person I want to be on and off the field.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My parents, they have both shown their continuous support throughout my athletic career.

Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?

Drew Brees is my role model because of the way he carries himself throughout life and the extreme leadership he displays.

What is your desired major in college?

I would like to pursue my education in either criminal justice or environmental science.

Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?

Although we have learned to adapt throughout the COVID crisis, I believe and hope that these “struggles” will not be a part of this football season.

Favorite play to run?

My personal favorite play to run is QB power. As it is one of our most successful plays in the playbook.

What is your personal goal for this season?

My personal goal is to lead my team to achieve a consecutive Region Championship.

Favorite pre-game meal?

A grandmother made pb&j.

Sports movie?

Remember the Titans.

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

Baseball due to the conflict between my personal schedule and football and basketball.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

Punting from our own 1-yard line, as well as a bad snap, which led to a tipped punt. This caused the ball to go straight up and resulted in the opposing team catching it in the endzone.

What are you looking forward to most this year?

I am looking forward to having the opportunity to play football with the stands filled like they used to be.

Favorite activities?

Hunting, Fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
