Oil City struggled last season, finishing 3-5 overall. What has to change to get you guys back to your winning ways?

I think a year of experience will help a lot of our younger players. I was one of the only 2 starters returning from our D10 championship teams so we were very young. Only had one senior last year in the starting lineup. We also have good numbers hitting the weight room as well as coming to speed training.

What makes playing at Oil City so tough on opponents?

OC it is no secret that we play a very tough physical style of football. We live and die by the run!

As far as road games are concerned, where is the most challenging place to play? Why?

I would probably just say Meadville because they are always tough.

What are your thoughts on the state finals being moved from Hershey?

No thought about the championships being moved since we never had the chance to play in them.

After the 2022 season is over, how badly do you want to play in one or two of the state-wide All-Star games?

I would not mind playing in an all-star game, but it is not my main concern

What are your personal goals as well as the goals you have set for the team?

My goals are to keep improving and help the team try and win another D10 title.

What have you been able to accomplish this off-season to make you a better player?

Hitting the weights and doing speed training

What game, good or bad, do you remember the most? Why?

The most memorable games would be the two D10 title games as well as some of the close state playoff games we played in 20.

Where is the best spot in your town to eat?

Not many choices in Oil City to eat… usually go to Casey’s

What is your favorite TV show?

My favorite show is Family Guy.
