What has to change for Kennedy Catholic to start winning football games?
Honestly, A lot has to change and It all starts with us players. I’ve never been around a more talented group of guys, we just need to start believing in ourselves. If we fully commit to the process, there’s no telling how far this team could go.
What have you been able to accomplish this off-season to make you a better player this coming season?
I’ve just been working on my craft. I attended a lot of camps and put myself in front of a lot of coaches this summer. I believe that if you really want something you gotta go out and get it and that’s what I’ve been doing. If you are dedicated you can do anything!!
Which team on the 2022 schedule do you most want to beat?
Reynolds.
What has been your favorite moment on the field?
My favorite moment was winning that game vs Lakeview last year. Especially because we got to get Kole (Our senior leader last year) a win before he headed off to College.
In looking at all of the road games you have played, which one of those stadiums is your favorite to play at? Explain
We played Iroquois @ Harbor Creek last year, Their stadium was beautiful!!
After your senior season is through, how important is it to you to be invited to play in one or two of the state-wide all-star games?
If it happens it happens you know. Just gotta put my head down and keep working. God’s plans are always greater than mine!!!
What is your favorite and least favorite thing about practice?
The favorite thing would have to be when we’re going over defensive coverages. My least favorite thing would have to be what we call 4 corners.
What goals have you set for yourself along with the goals you have set for your team?
I truly believe I can be a 2k-yard rusher but for the team, I honestly can’t expect anything less than the playoffs. We have the talent it’s just up to us now.
What is a secret talent you have that would shock those who know you?
I’m a good writer. Just like to see what my mind can come up with sometimes.
Where is the best spot in town to eat?
Our Gangs!! Never really been a big wing guy but I always find myself eating them there.
