If teams aren’t looking to cover Gavin Lutz like a blanket, they’ll be in for a long night. Lutz has that playmaker ability that can ruin the night for defensive backs. He isn’t the largest wide receiver in the state, but his athletic abilities more that make up for his size. Defensively he’s a solid player as well. Look for Gavin to make another run at All-State honors.

Head Coach Sam Mowery know’s he has a history maker. “Gavin returns for his senior year also looking to become the school’s and county’s all-time leading receiver. Lutz enters his final campaign with 136 receptions for 1,629 yards and 13 TDs. He is looking to break his brother’s (Logan Lutz – Duquesne TE – 2024) school record of 199 receptions and become only the second Mercer County receiver to top the 200 reception mark. Lutz is also a key piece in the Grove City secondary, earning all-region honors as a corner as well. Looking to become the school’s and county’s all-time leading receiver”.
