What has been your fondest memory as far as playing football goes?
Scoring against our rival on the first play of the game my sophomore year

What was the best and worst part of the 2022 season?
The best part was making a statement as an underdog in the first round of playoffs the worst part was having to say goodbye to the seniors

What makes playing for the Hickory Hornets so special?
It’s just an honor to play football for Hickory because our program has created a reputation that we are expected to uphold not only on the field but in the classroom and community as well. Coach Dungee does a great job developing both our game and our characters through things like bringing in guest speakers, community service, and weekly meetings about becoming better people.

What is your favorite play to run?
Four verticals against single high man coverage

Which side of the ball do you enjoy playing the most?
Offense because I like to score touchdowns

What are you looking forward to most this season?
Playing one last season with my best friends

What is the biggest goal you have set for yourself this season, as well as the top goal for your team?
I want to be on the all-state team. our goal as a team is always to win the state championship.

How would your coaches and teammates describe you?
A hard worker that loves to have fun

After the season is over, how much will it mean to you to be invited to play in the Big-33 or East vs. West All-Star game?

it’s been a goal of mine since I started playing football

What one rule in high school football would you change?
I would get rid of any rule restricting eyeblack.

Have you heard from any college coaches about playing at the next level? If yes, would you name one or two of the schools?
I recently received an offer from Clarion and have been in conversations with a few other schools

With this being your senior season, have you approached things differently than you have in the past?
I’m focusing a lot more on the mental aspect of the game, understanding concepts and stuff like that

Where should the state finals be held?
Hershey

If you could go back in time, what period would you live in?
8th grade

Who is your favorite all-time athlete?
conor mcgregor, his Netflix documentary is really interesting

What is your favorite genre of music, along with your favorite song?
