Why do you play football?

I love the bonds I make with the team and the competitiveness of the sport.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Mike Tyson. He’s the definition of determination. He was smaller than everyone but still managed to have the fire inside of him to be a world champ.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

One of my first plays as a linebacker freshman year. We were in the second round of playoffs and I sacked the QB as he rolled out

What was last years season like for you?

Learning more than ever and leading the team to playoffs

What are your goals for this coming season?

Winning the district championship along with rebuilding the O-line with the young kids coming up. Along with leading our defense and teaching the younger kids filling in.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

Ethen Knox

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

Beaver stadium because of the atmosphere and amount of people they can fit. The energy is unmatched

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Steelers. They have a history of a destructive defense which I believe wins football games

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

Last years playoff game. Even though we lost there was a lot to learn and it makes me hungry for revenge if we go against them again.

What would you do to improve the recruiting process?

Looking more in depth at athletes instead of performance of a one day camp.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

Someone who will help the team anyway possible even if they don’t get any glory.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

It builds a brotherhood between teammates which helps keeps kids respectable and confident. This then translates to community work that will help the community thrive.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Throw a touchdown pass

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My coach. He has a determination to give a 100% at all times. I try to live to that standard everyday

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

Favorite is linebacker footwork and read drills. Least favorite is sprints

Preseason Two a Days are: 

Practices twice a day to prepare for the upcoming season and the opportunity to grow as a team weeks before you have games.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

Grandparents. They are always supportive and try to share their knowledge on dealing with situations to help me.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

I like playing piano. It’s a great way to express feelings and relax after long days. Reading and learning new songs can be endless. Every time you play you will learn something and it’ll never run out.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Being a top 4 team in the state my freshman year and being able to play with the varsity team that game.

What is your favorite play to run?

ISO. I love running up the gut and blocking for my running back. I always open up a lane for a decent gain.

No.

Advice on playing my position as a freshman and how to deal with adversity. Helped me become the player I am today

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Any part of the untamed wilderness

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?

Steelers playing the ravens on tv. Big rivalry game and trying to understand what was happening at such a young age.
